I think that we can get ourselves out of trouble, but the 9 games gone with so little return mean the chances of us finishing 11th have already gone. 4th from bootom now is looking like a good result.

Yeah they told me they're the headline act in canadian jokes

Seriously though as a 17 year old boy many moons ago it was an experience. The women were lovely and I guess the accent worked a treat but found so many nice people.

They tooked some poor tennis players off court to allow us a court and they let us in the shopping centre for free.

We were treated like celebritys allbeit I guess they don't get many foreigners
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

totally agree WeAre, think these are the pertinent words - this board after a loss is awash with the usual overreactionaries -

              The Newfie and the Genie

A drunk Newfie was stumbling home one day when he got lost and found himself in the bush. He fell to the ground and noticed a lamp. He picked it up, and rubbed it, and out came a genie.

"You have three wishes, choose them wisely." says the Genie.

The Newfie, looking down at his last, and empty, bottle of beer, smashes it on some rocks and says, "I want a beer that will never run out."

A bottle appears in front of the Newfie. He takes it, looks at it, and downs it. He looks at it again, and to his surprise, it was still full. The Newfie being very content starts walking away.

"Where are you going," asks the Genie, "You still have two wishes left!"

"Well," replies the Newfie, "Give me TWO more of these!"

Can you me what the ex Foolham and Chelsea man has achieved? 8th is good yeah, but what else? He had loads at Man City to prove if he was good and he failed. All Hughes does is sign players and make up excuses. He's a deadman walking and Fernandes is being taken for a ride imo

Sorry mate but I just Can't see why anyone would support Mark, his sides cannot attack, he plays players like SWP's who isn't good enough for league 1, all Mark does is sign loads of players, players like Man Utds workhorse Park who has been awful, Onouha who tried the Micah Richards but failed, Rob Green who's on 50k a week and on the bench. And players who can't control their temper and keep costing Qpr wins in Cisse, Diakite and MBia etc. Our football clubs a joke and for me we've got a clown manager to match it, I feel for Fernandes as he's put good money in to try and make this a real club. But Hughes will only have a handful of excuses after Reading and look smug about it. At least when we were in the lower leagues we had players likeLee Cookand Martin Rowlands who cared, not players picking up their last pay checks and players like MBia who thinks Qpr is a club in Scotland (If the mirror is right of course, but it has quotes). I could of gone on with more rubbish Hughes has done, like quote we will never be in this position again while he's manager and not playing IMO our best player Hoilett for a lot of games, butI will be here all day listing things he, as manager of our football club cannot do? I believe while he's Qpr manager we're in for a rough ride

                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Swansea are 11th on 11 points, 8 points ahead of us. There are 87 points to play for.

Only 8 points ahead of us??? They have just shy of 4 times as many points as us. We need to go on a run, not just beat reading and Southampton as even the bad teams are picking up more points than us.

All I hear is play cisse, play faurlin, don't play park don't play zamora, I think most people have about 4 or 5 teams going around in there head but we need to be looking at a settled side and whether that means NOT playing all our best players then so be it.

All I ask if for fans to be patient, we aren't ever going to be man utd who win most weeks but we will be around 11th-14th come the end of the season under hughes.
I see what you are getting at, but are you really content with SWP playing at the expense of Faurlin or CIsse? And if we cannot state our opinions on therse boards where can we?

Someone in the team needs to score goals, and it isnt going to be Zamora. His track record at Premier League provides the evidence that Zamora is likely to struggle to get into double figures. He performs better alongside another striker i.e. Cisse.

The users on here are not more negative than others are they? That´s not my impression really. But anyway, and the most important thing is that this thread resulted in a very fruitful debate.Fairly well balanced and IOW, not in tears, like most threads tend to do on here?
PS.It usually does for me anyway.
