  • Cisse

I know Cisse hasnt looked very sharp so far this year, but lets be honest, he hasnt really been given much of a run so far. Hes made some late sub appearances, and started vs Reading. Cant be many more, if any starts than that.

Our defending has been woeful this year, but with Zamora up top, we are never going to get many goals. It was as clear as anything what a difference Cisse's goals made for us last season. Without them, we would be down. The Zamora Cisse partnership has got to be given a go - we should be playing to our strengths!

10 games so far, and this one up front nonsense certainly isnt working. If we are gonig to let in stupid goals from poor defending, lets at least give us a chance of scoring more up the other end. Cisse is the kind of player who can play badly, but if hes given a chance - it is more likely than anything that he will score. I cant really say we have anyone anywhere near as a clincal finisher as him, and hes being wasted. SWP has been given many games, as has Park. Seems insane for him to be benched

I have to agree; what do we have to lose by starting him?

Complete luxury and for me we need to get a settled side. We have about 3 or 4 different sides but holliet has looked good in the role off zamora.

Lets not lose all faith we can turn this around and playing cisse stinks of desperation, looked very unfit and if I had a pound for everytime he went offside i'd be flying to the moon with virgin
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

To the reason we dont play with two out and out strikers is then you get over run in midfield perfect example- West Ham at home

Playing with 10 men from the start ? I dunno he seems not tuned in most of the time he's had a start, but then we do lack goals and he and zamora are all we've got

Fraggy living in canada and not getting to see any live games will have clouded your view.

He really has been pants off the ball and something you can't really see on tv

I am sure that is the case weare; but it seems nothing else is working & we need to score as we are unable to keep a clean sheet. I remember a certain #10 back in the day being a bit lazy & spending time in the bookies prior to kick off, but still turned out to be a legend.

I do believe that Junior does need a run of games, as I think he can be the answer up front. I'm not saying that because of The Canadian connection, as most over here have never heard of him before. I think if he gets a few games under his belt, he may be tempted to look for the killer pass rather than run into a dead end.

Something's not right with him. Not sure if I was reading too much into it but trudging all the way to our fans and handing his shirt in, he had the the look of someone that didn't really want to be here and was pretty fed up. Maybe off in Jan?

I agree that he has looked out of sorts and hasn't offered much, but he needs game time to get that sharpness back.

If I was him, considering how many goals he got for us last season, I'd be pretty annoyed that I wasn't being given the chance to get some match time under my belt.

Not sure why ppl are worried about the 4 man midfield. Hoilett, diakute, adel and granero shld be a match for anyone. What exactly have we achieved so far with these tactics? 3 points and not one win.

Cisse has played alongside Zamora in 3 games
                    1. against Norwich - Cisse won and missed a penalty with Zamora scoring the rebound
                    2. against Walsall - Zamora scored,
                    3. against Reading - Cisse scored.
EDIT - they played together against West Ham and neither scored.

Apart from these games Cisse has started alone against Swansea when the whole team was poor, or been used as a sub in place of Zamora.

Hoilett is not a centre forward and certainly not someone who will sniff out chances in the 6 yard box as Cisse can do.

QPR have scored 7 goals in 9 games, hence the run of games without a win. Without a goalscorer in the side the only thing QPR will do this season is flutter to deceive

That could easily have been resolved, by bringing Diakite on after 20 mins in place of SWP.

No need to bring SpankwiR into this. Anyways, how comes he would be your preferred travel companion if you were to venture past the ozone layer?
