  • SWP

Feel sorry for you Phillips. The scape goat of our under performing team.
He's like that friend you have that you don't really like for no reason.

Let's get behind the little fella, I'll start

De de de de de de, de de de de de de
    Shaun Wright Phillips.

    I'll get my coat.
Queens Park Rangers, simply the best.

I'm not usually one for getting on a player's back, but SWP giving the ball away so carelessly, so many times in the second half, was the last straw for me.
At any level of football, nevermind the premier league, it's just unforgiveable. Once or twice can be annoying, but excused, four or five times though, well you just got to think of getting rid.

SWP is just out of form. I agree he needs to be dropped until Hughes finds he's best team.
        At the minute its probably.

Hes been out of form for 15 months now - bench at best. The midfield you mention above is by far and away our best side IMO.

Yep, would give that team a run-out against Reading.

SWP is like a Mackie you either love him or hate him, I still rate him. It's up to Hughes to drop him and show that no one is bigger than the team. Hughes plays SWP because he likes him he worked with him at City. I would personally use him as a sub especially when leaving the likes of Cisse on the bench.
Faurlin is our natural ball winner, Diakite is our space maker and isn't scared to beat a few players and Granero is a pass specialist. I would include them all in our midfield and Hoilett and Tarbs should be our wingers.
Mackie and SWP should be our subs for the wingers. If were chasing The game you stick on Mackie to cause mayhem if were winning you take off who Evers doing **** and put on Phillips.

I don't rate Hughes as a manager but would be madness to sack him now, that would defo kill us off.

That's a team (bar Anton). You can guarantee Hughes won't pick it.

I say kill us off because that would give our next manager excuses like I don't know the best team and its only been 5 games etc. Like wolves last year they were playing well but just couldn't get points.

I think we stick with Hughes until the end of the season. I believe he will keep us up but we will be in a relegation scrap all season. After this season I would get rid and bring in someone different.

He has a good footballing brain but not the skill to back it up. He gets into good positions but messes it up most of the time - poor pass, poor cross, whatever

I remember he was running at Santos, then for some reason he runs past the ball and gets his feet tangled. Embarrassing lack of ball control.

He hasn't been in any sort of form since he signed for chelsea to sit on the bench and take his paychecks.

Totally right. Sold his career for extra money in his bank and has never looked back.
