We were close to 4 points in the last 2 matches. We should have beaten the toffees and should have had a penalty and a draw at Arsenal would have been a good point. If we had gotten four points then we would all have a different view on our position and MH

less than that and I'd get rid
or shall we keep him, get relegated but at least we'd have stability
                we're 9 games in, that's 1/4 of the season, the clock's ticking
                tick tock tick tock
Agree that these 3 games will decide MH future but I agree with others he needs to be given as long as possible as another new set up is not what we require, Everton and Wigan and Fulham have both stood firm with their managers when things were looking bleak and come out the other side intact.

Spot on.I think sacking him now is harsh as the games coming up should be winable.BUT,if we fail to beat Reading and Southampton at home then he has to go.Just my view I think we will get a draw against Reading and beat Southampton. Not good enough, bye bye.

How didnt we contain then? We held them to 0-0 until the 84th minute as we went down to 10? Is that not containing then? If not I must be confused as to what is meant by containing a side.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Thats just it,why are we going to Arsenal aiming to contain them.Dont get me wrong i didnt think we would get anything out of this game but why not give it a go? When you look at other teams in our postion (Reading,Norwich,Southampton) they at least have a go,we go with the aim of putting 11 men behind the ball for 90 mins and hold on for a point.

Hoop we are bottom of the league and producing some terrible defensive errors, I think going there for a point is fair enough and we very nearly got in on the break a couple times. Imo if we had kept 11 on the field Arsenal would have had to push on being the home team looking for the win which may have given us even more chances to hit on the break

Dave I know the defence are making silly errors and this is the reason we should give it a go.Every time we play you can sence the other team is going to score at some point. When we play away we should give it a go.I would rather lose 3-2 and give them a game rather than lose 1-0 and have one or two shots on goal the whole game.

Saints got done 6-1 a few weeks ago, that is what a side like Arsenal can do to you ! There are not many sides who could take Arsenal on at the emirates and get a result trying to attack. Hughes got it spot on tactics wise but got let down by Mbia and a lino once again.
