I make it 3 games on the proviso we beat Reading, fail next week and he could well go.

Mentioned it a few days ago, but I was told that Hughes had 3 more HOME games to turn it around starting from Everton, and had to pick up at least 7 points. If this is true then we must beat Reading and So'ton.

Where you heard this from? Somebody connected within QPR?

My mate knows someone who usually gets all this stuff spot on, apparently he is connected to the club.

Ok cheers, pressure is definetly mounting regardless of whatever Fernandes says/tweets.

what names are being talked about as replacements? Surely we would have a name lined up?

Wasn't told anything about that, just that he needed at least 7 points at home starting from the Everton game. Personally, If the worst was to happen and he did get the sack, then I'd love for Ollie to take over!

I think you could be right.

I was watching the game on Football First and it was quite clear that Arsenal were there to be beaten, but Hughes got the team and tactics wrong.

Santos and the rest of the defence were not tested anywhere near enough. Partly because Taarabt and to a lesser extent Hoilett, spent more time in midfield leaving Zamora isolated up front. Had Faurlin played in midfield he would have covered a lot more ground on the left had side and Granero could have done the same on the right leaving Diakite in the centre. this would have meant that the three attackers could have created more than the occasional minor threat to the Arsenal goal.

Alternatively he could have just selected Cisse instead of SWP to give the defence a headache...and take a few shots at goal!

well that would make sense, 9 games in and no win, wtf.

Sorry, but I cant see Holloway doing any better, other than putting more pressure on opponents. He has never really managed big time players and my feeling is he would struggle with some of the players at QPR.

The main obstacle with sacking Hughes is probably the lack of decent options, other than perhaps Redknapp. I don't suppose Pep Gardiola is interested!

That's a quarter of the season, surely this cant go on much longer?

He cant even blame today on some bad luck, as I said above, QPR rarely created an opening to score a goal. That's not bad luck, but poor tactics. Arsenal were poor today, but QPR did not pose a threat to them.
