  • is a relegation fight possible?????

now i know its only three games but imho alarm bells are ringing.....its blantantly obvious we are gonna really struggle to score more than one a game so i cant see us winning more than ten games all season..........add roughly a dozen draws and i see a long hard winter ahead............too be fair i think in some respects many of us clearly 'over rate' some of our players when compared with others..........for instance even though 'we' champion our 'magical' midfield ( ahem) the lad mackie at plymouth n bryan at brizzol last night were both clearly better players than we have!!......i think we need to take a reality check and admit...............we are no better than 10th -16th in the ccc at best!!

Anything is possible, I have seen teams with money struggle many times....

Well only time will tell, we are struggling for goals against championship sides, so unless we draw a lot of games and steal the odd win, then yeah a relegation fight could be there.

Possible but still ages yet with which to turn round the start..
Arguing with a scientist is like wrestling a pig in mud... sooner or later you;ll realise you're muddy and he's enjoying it.....

Wouldn't rule it out do you think charlton fans thought they'd go down this time last year........

With the current shortages in key areas and the apparently senseless playing of players out of position, I'd say it's more probable than possible.
FFS what are they doing to our team?
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                        2015/2016, average at best.....

                        2016/2017, same old, same old....

                        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

What worried me last night (other than the poor playing out of defence, the toothlessness up front, the fact that our best players seem to be on the bench or missing altogether (CONNOLLY AND GORKSS MUST START!!!!!!!!!), the standing off and reluctance to tackle (LEGS ESPECIALLY) and the terrible passing) was the lack of shape and organisation about the team.
They really didn't seem to have very-well defined roles and everything seemed a bit laissez-faire -- if it comes near you, swing-your-foot-at-it sort of thing.

Very chaotic and improvised -- exciting for the odd few minutes when things clicked, but woefully inadequate for the rest of the time.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

why not,we have been in enough of them in the past.I would hope our present squad would be way too good to be dragged into that but you never know, its possible.
