That is incredibly harsh.... You say claim the crosses in the West Ham game.... One was a mis hit shot from Nolan that sliced way beyond Cesar and Jarvis' intended header across goal spun in the goal. And the 2nd goals cross went way over him and beyond his far post... Who exactly could he claim either???

And the backheel again I think was not only unexpected but just inside the far post and he couldn't get across goal. Don't blame him for that.

I can also think of plenty of truely worldy saves he's made also, pretty much in every game.... Against Hazard, against Vaz Te tipped shot onto bar, against Gera when left totally open 1on1 from 10yards, and today the save from Giroud's header just before the goal was superb.

    Each to their own tho.

Julio Cesar was known as the Emperor in Italy for obvioius reasons and I don't know why this hasn't caught on here yet.

He certainly needs a song, I suggest: "All Hail the Emperor, All Hail the Emperor, All Hail the Emperor, ad infinitum".

If we stay up this season, his saves will be crucial. 9 points from the next 3 games which is quite possible, and then this nightmare start will hopefully be forgotten.

They changed the ball into the 'winter ball' today, looked a bit slippery but Cesar got used to it and was saving it from all angles in the second half!

" His inability to hold the ball " He actually chooses to play that way. Pushing the ball to a place that he also picks, instead of holding it. I know this sounds hard to believe, but back when he played in Brazil for my team, Flamengo, he admitted that he chooses the spots to where he'll push the ball before pushing it away from goal and Flamengo goalkeeping coaches also confirmed.

Anyway, before any of you ask, I am a Flamengo and Cesar fan, now after bringing Park, Granero and Cesar, three players that I always liked, I believe that I am also a QPR fan. At first I just checked this forum for the matches dates, but sometimes I want to post something and I also believe that this forum could help to improve my English while talking about the sport that I love and the team that I started to enjoy watching, so here I am. Nice to meet you all.

Best keeper we've had in years and will save us so many times this season.

I think you could take comfort from knowing that without his saves QPR would have lost by 3,4 or 5. His crucial saves could be vital if positions come down to goal difference.

Top keeper! Sadly, he has a pub team defence in front of him.

Biggest problem that Julio has had from day one, as far as I can see, is the wholly suspect, more often than not totally inept, excuse of a defence in front of him.

Hi there =]. Yes, that's where he played until he started going to parties everyday and getting drunk, which eventually led him to playing horribly and his millionaire contract was terminated. Ronaldinho is trouble, a gifted player but is very undisciplined, now he's playing for Atlético Mineiro.
