  • One for the SPIN DOCTORS on here...

Going to russle some feathers here and not directed at anyone in particular. I said it at the start of the season and arguements/discussions started and I'll say it again. EVERYONE of us supporters know what our problem is. We need a decent feeking striker - END OF. GP has a massive influence on the board. He is the man that can get cash from the guys above but if he doesn't feel we need a striker then what chance do we have as a club to move forward. I know its only 3 games in but to me we have dropped 5 points... 5 VALUABLE POINTS THAT COULD BE IMPORTANT at the end of the season.

Stop giving the TAARABT is a striker so we don't need a new one when quite clearly HE ISN'T as said on here when we signed him and ALSO even clearer and more evident is that fact that he is wasted where we are currently playing him. He should be out on the LEFT WING which would balance our side perfectly!

In return last night we played Buzz and Agyemang out there during different times in the game last night. BUZZ clearly doesn't have the pace for it, he's not known for skinning a player and whipping a ball into the box.

AGYEMANG deserves no more than 20mins a game - I'm not being harsh!. Any longer and he is a waste of space. He is an IMPACT player. Someone you bring on when the opporsitions defence is tiring which is why WE ALL AS SUPPORTERS SAY when he comes on the pitch as a late 2nd half substitute things like 'WHY DIDN'T HE START'.

HH is wasted on the bench, especially after a goal on Saturday against Plymouth. He had a slight pull but I feel if he was good enough to come on as a sub then he should have been started!

    ON A POSITIVE NOTE
FAULIN last night was sheer quality. He looked a fantastic buy and that was after not having any game time for 3 weeks. I am aware he made a couple of weak stray passes but other than that he with Routledge's 2nd half performance (who I put as a close 2nd) were by far our best players.

when you say "5 points" do you mean "7 points"

and when you say "Faurlin was sheer quality" did you actually mean "distinctly average in the first half, much better in the second half, and showed glimpses of what he can do when fully fit and integrated into the side..."

      just asking like.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, we have dropped 7 points this season.

absolutely, but why doesn't GP think we need a striker, remind me how many has he brought into the club since he's been here & not 1 of them top notch (barring Furlong maybe) now he can't really go cap in hand & say "hey Flav i think we need a striker" talk about egg on face, that's why he is trying to convince "the gang" that we don't need one

I agree with you. QPR do need at least 1 new striker, prefearbly one with a good scoring level.

Taarabt is a winger and the sooner Magilton works that one out, the better. We could then see Buzsaky play in his best position, in midfield supporting the striker(s).

Agyemang is an impact striker and should not be leading the forward line from the start of a game.

Neither in my opinion should Helguson.

I don't see why Pellicori isn't being selected. If he isn't good enough, why the hell was he given a 3 year contract?

I didn't see the game, so don't know how Faurlin played, but it sounds like he had a poor 1st half and then a good 20 minute spell in the 2nd half. Considering he hadn't played since mid-July due to an injury and that this was his 1st taste of English football, I think we can call it a reasonably successful debut. I look forward to seeing him when he is fully fit and adjusted to the CCC.

Substitute the word season for mins a game and you are about right...

Matthew, having now given the players a chance, I think you'll find I've recommended at least one striker and maybe even 2 after last night

Difference, was I felt they deserved to be given a chance.
