Mark Donnelly to join in New Year

QUEENS Park Rangers Football Club is delighted to announce the imminent appointment of Chief Operating Officer Mark Donnelly.

Donnelly, the former Chief Financial Officer at the Football Association, is due to take up his new position at Loftus Road in January 2013.

Donnelly has played a key role at The F.A over the past 18 months, notably in terms of the overall financial stability in the FA Group, Wembley Stadium’s improved trading position and the opening of the new national football centre at St George’s Park.

Well as FA financial officer he's spent the last 18 months counting the money from all the fines they've stitched us up with!

Could be a good thing in future as he may have friends in influencial places.... or he could really be an FA spy sent to find something wrong with the administration of our club so they can throw the book at us once and for all......

sounds like his remit will be the training ground and new stadium - which means they are serious about the latter...

It's reassuring in a way that these off-field appointments (who all seem to be of good pedigree) are continuing.
