I think we should have a fans union, put the blockers on SKY and Clubs squeezing every last penny out of folk.

"As far as I've seen it's only one lawyer who's mentioned the discussion. The mere mention of it should wake the FA and PFA up a bit though."
yes I see it as a gambit, if their is a breakaway Black players union then the PFA the FA and the whole Kick it out campaign will be deemed a failure so this is a wake up call for the powers that be to get their act together and sort themselves and take proper action rather than playing lip serviceits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

also - by the sounds of it, none of this racism/racial claims/slurs has actually come from fans? It all seems to be within the football world - be it players and the people that run it. is it that the FA, PFA, football's elite are actually behind us, the fans, the ones who - without - there would be no capacity stadiums across the country week in week out?

It is like something out of a Monty Python sketch, Black players only union set up to fight racism and to encourage racial integration.....
The union set up to fight racism is in itself inherently racist in name and membership. Brilliant. Couldn't write this stuff......:drunk:

This kind of stuff angers me. There are a number of black organisations around which is fine if that's what they want, but no one should ever object to a non-black organisation.
These kind of organisations create a type of apartheid and breeds resentment. There is no need for a' Black PFA' and if it does go ahead, they have no need to belong to the PFA, which perhaps should be renamed the 'Non-Black PFA'. You can imagine the reaction of black players and the do-gooders!Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I don't know why lol I knew a guy who was mixed race never met his dad in his life who was black. But he still perceived himself as a black man .

I've travelled a lot, and usually have a really dark complexion s I have olive skin to begin with. Have quite a mixed accent too, and people always want to know where I'm from. The laughs I have had with that I can tell you.

Odd - I agree with the MOBOs, for what it initially stands for - Music of black origin...which is of african roots, something like ladysmith blackman bozo something - did the Heinze advert a few years back. Or even reggae, originating from Jamaica. However, now it just seems to be music that "black" people sign/listen to...which doesn't necessarily equate to whether it's of "black" origin.

Swimming pools etc that were "whites only"
Now they want a player union that is "blacks only"
To me this is reverse rascism that can only help to divide instead of uniting and ultimately cause more harm than good
