maybe there were 'complications' with the birth .

I know this is extremly selfish but from my point of view... for **** sake
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

        Spot on.

I don't know ant details about his daughters birth, but as you say there could be any number of reasons why he neeeds to be there.

My daughter had complications and was born 9 weeks premature and weighed only 2lb 5oz. She was in special care for 6 weeks thereafter and still at risk throughout that period. Would i be thinking about football after a week.... no chance.

When my boy was born he was premature, his lungs hadn't developed properly, he had problems with his kidneys too. Even though I had exams at University, I didn't give a crap was at the hospital every day. His mum was really sick, and didn't even get to hold him for the first week. So it made it even more important for me to be there to feed him and hold him etc.

Don't know what the situation with Bale is, but your kids come first. It's amazing how common complications with births are.

Can't believe that some are insinuating that Bale should play no matter what, just because the Southampton result could have a bearing on QPR's league position!! Are some QPR fans that callous? As the thread title says, Quite Unbelievable.
