I'm saying he didn't want to come to QPR. Its pretty simple really.

We might love the club, doesn't mean paid professionals do and that includes Michael Chopra

If we offered him more money like we did with WR, we would of got Chopra. It's all about greed these days.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

That's not what you are saying. You've just said that Chopra was at Cardiff when they didn't go up so therefore he can't be any good. You said this just a couple of comments ago and have said it before.

But you also believe (or at least you said it last night) that we should sign Beckford. Surely if you are being consistent then Beckford can't be any good because Leeds haven't gone up.

You seem to think that Chopra is to blame for Cardiff's failure to get promoted not the other 20 men in the squad. Or the defence that let in 6 at Preston.

I'm saying tha Chopra had no interest in coming to QPR.

We are talking about a Cardiff City player who has started well in the championship. Lets not go overboard.

He is not coming to us and never wanted to, so lets see what else is out there.

If what you are saying is that he would have turned us down even if we had bettered his wage by say 10% or 20% then there is nothing that QPR could have done about it. But I don't think anyone believes that we ever gave Chopra the opportunity to turn us down.

Anyway, you have previously stated on this and other threads that Chopra can't be good enough if Cardiff have failed to get promoted with him in the side. Why do you say this? Do you believe that a striker has control over the teams defence? Or over the manager's tactics. If a striker scores 50 goals but his defence lets in 100 it doesn't make him a bad striker if they fail to win anything. You have already said we should sign Beckford but in your mind he must be a failure too as he didn't get Leeds promoted.

in 16 games for Cardiff City end of last season he scored

              4

Thats why I say Hammersmith r;s you are going overboard. Have that kind of record for us and you would be up for selling hi8m to Darlington.

No we wouldn't be saying sell him to Darlington because we would look at the bigger picture as see that he has scored 34 goals in 71 Championship appearances and has 17 assists which equates to a goal every 168 minutes. Or a goal or an assist every 111 minutes. Our best is Agyemang with a goal every 254 minutes.

Sorry sirpie, thats easy to say.

No-one is looking at the bigger picture with Tarrabt. I keep hearing he is a midfielder, no-one I repeat no-one was saying that last season when he played for us against Bristol City. When he has moved out left wing, he has been much less effective.

Chopra wouldnt go to Qpr. He loved Cardiff, was having problems and came back to a team with supporters that loved him. Routledge went for money. He wasnt at Cardiff long enough to fall for the place. Routledge and Chopra will do damage in this league to anyone when used correctly. Im shocked at your poor start. not so shocked by Jacks. Are they calling for the managers head with you yet ? Sousas head is being called for allready by a minority down South

I would not like to be a Swansea fan at the moment. He has played two games at home with a 4-5-1 formation, would bore me to tears.

Anyway, as regards to Chopra only one club he would go to in the championship and thats Cardiff

Martinez played it last year and they played some real nice stuff (that hurts me to say it) But since they have lost Scotland and Gomez to Wigan they seem to have crumbled. But being fair to them they have their midfield missing in Pratley,Bodde and Joe Allen. Them 3 should keep the **** safe.
I think Sousa plays a more defensive 4-5-1 thats hurting the Jack fans

i bet you used to take the ball home when your team was getting beat in a kick about

Some on here still love those tactics and your may notice they still have Sousa as an avaitor. Horses for courses, I guess.

for the record i wasn't a great lover of his tactics either, just thought he didn't have the tools to work with & we all know about the interference from above, think he will make a good manager one day, maybe abroad where he will be appreciated more, the thing that did get me was it was all to technical for me

Did we try and get chopra in the summer, did we try and talk to him i would of thought we could of offered him more wages than cardiff or did we just give up because he didn't want to join us on loan for 3million he would of been bargain he scores goals end of story and yes we'd probably have at least 7points now instead of 2 against 2 poor teams.

We have brought in an argie for 3.5million unproven and pellicori another unproven striker and dont try and tell me magilton wanted these players they where forced on him.
