  • Last Night (OH DEAR)

Alright everyone, not sure what I saw last night against Bristol, but was wondering whether anyone else felt the same?

Our passing is totally dreadful. So many were miss hit it was incredible.

What's Cerny's constant short ball to the back four all about??? It wasn't working the whole night and finally cost us the goal. The long balls he did play never met a head either.

Our defense seems good, with midfield providing stylish flourishes, but as soon as the team get in and around the opposition box they are determined to play flat and try to pass the ball into the net. No one wants to have a pop! So many times the ball was on the edge of the area and no one seemed to have the peg to put it away.

I think we're pushing for play offs at best.

Our passing under Sousa was much better albeit we were not creating much.

Hall seems intent on playing the long ball everytime when we know Agymang cannot win a header!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

On current form, I wouldn't be looking at finishing higher than last season.

QPR have had a number of goal attempts in the 3 games played so far, so it isn't that they want to pass the ball into the net. The problem is the quality of finishing.

        Here are just a few of the missed chances;

Helguson hit the bar from 6 yards and with the goal gaping. (Blackpool)
Vine missed the taget from 8 yards with the goal at his mercy. (Blackpool)
Routledge missed the target from 10 yards. (Plymouth)
Taarabt hit the post from 4 yards. (Bristol City)

Perhaps we can get to see Pellicori against Forest and if he misses these kind of chances, QPR might purchase a finisher before the August deadline.

Maybe we should practise shooting from the 6 yard box and not the 18 yard box. Even take out the keeper so they know what it is like to put the ball in the back of the net
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Our passing would be much better as we were passing it backwards

Errr.....to be fair to Taarabt, against BC he was a lot further than 4 yards out, looked to be not far inside the box to me, and the angle at which he received the ball was really tight and tricky, with a bit of an odd swerve on it -- did well to hit the post where HH or similar would have probably put it in row Z.
The other misses mentioned on here?
                              Unforgiveable.
(I might sort of forgive Vine a bit because he's been out for so long. Takes time to get your eye in again.)
And don't get me started on bleedin' LEGS last night -- crap distribution and THAT MISS --- oh my days, Josie would have scored that -- probably have potted it with her white stick.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
