  • Hughes

Just interested to know what people think. So he picks the side most people would have started, Park aside maybe. What could he have done differently? Had Zamora not gone walk about for their goal we would have won today. Not having a go at people who want Hughes out, everyone's entitled to their opinion just interested to know how he could have produced a win.
As for this premier league, anyone else not enjoying it that much?
    Barton is Innocent ok....

I blame the players for the repeated lack of concentration in games that's costing us goals and points. If it's not in the first 5 mins, it's straight after we've scored ourselves, or as per today, shocking excuses for defending.

If he'd signed dud players and we were playing really bad and never looking like a decent side, i would ask questions, but that's not the case. We have looked very good on many occasions and bar the errors, would be half way up the league by now. That's not his fault.

Fair point. Today's was the team- minus Park- I would've played and we still didn't win..... We're running out of options up front. Playing well, but not scoring and still conceding poor goals. This time last year we had three wins under our belts. It's worrying. Especially if we lose to Arsenal and don't beat Reading.

So if Hughes is responsible for individuals errors......is he responsible for Taarabt's individual goals too?

Of course,he'd take the credit for any winning run and fortune that would come our way,it's the nature of the job, being a manager is a bastad job and not one i'd want, but at the end of the day he will take the glory but he has to take responsibilty of crap defending week in and week out,he buys the players and he trains them so YES !!

Spot on, you can spend months in training going over basic defensive stuff. But if individuals don't do their jobs then its individual mistakes that are gonna cost us.

I'm not blaming him for individual errors but basic crap defending,we cannot defend set pieces and he is the one that sets us up for that, and i said its his job to sort that,

I have questions over the defensive coaching. Look at the difference between Man City under Hughes and then under Mancini, where Mancini got a lot of stick for playing defensive football but knew that to get results he had to build from the back. Today was yet another soft goal. Players like Onuoha and Ferdinand seem to have regressed under Hughes.
