Their did seem to be a problem with the pitch early on.

Doesn't do enough good stuff to justify the risk.
made at least three good chances with his runs and crosses. accept he is far from the finished article, that's why with more composed players like granero and faurlin alongside him we cd look a lot more solid in the middle.

Fair enough. Other then the goal vs Arsenal last year I can't remember a single assist or goal from him, and I would say he alone cost us points against Fulham last year and WHU this.

Hopefully he will mature a bit and learn how and when to stay on his feet as does have raw ability.

I think the Diakite/Granero partnership works well better than the Faurlin/Granero partnership. Samba is an absolute tank, certainly won't be pushed around. I just hope he can learn a bit of discipline :=):
"Imagine a relationship that went wrong but you held on in there for years: that's what it is like supporting a football team. Your loyalty to a team can never die. Ties are stronger than they could ever be with a woman. If she goes and sleeps with your best mate, it's over. If the Rs' boss, Ian Holloway, slept with my best mate, QPR would still be my team. Even if many of the things that you loved about going to matches have gone - terraces, team shirts without sponsors and being able to smoke at grounds - you still stick with your team." - Peter Doherty.

If samba was the finished article, he wouldn't be playing for us. Samba and adel are first names on teamsheet for me

He can become a great player in the next few years. The thing about his tackling is that it's 50/50, they either come off perfectly or come off as an attempted murder lol.

The way he carries the ball I'd be inclined to try him out wide keep him out of the battle

Good shout! Or do what City or Everton do with Yaya/Fellaini and play him behind the striker. Will hold up play, take on defenders and just power his way into the goal lol.

looks very good, just needs to learn to jockey with the man and not jump in
no question, a top prospect, still learning, lots more to come
