as for expecting a hell of alot, warnock done it all be it in the championship, but the how long had we been there.

i never expect but do desire to have a team worth talking about
Yep but would the Warnock team have stayed up? Or imagine if we were still fielding Derry etc every week now and getting thrashed with the tactically inept Warnock coming on after another thrashing smiling "I thought that was a smashing game, me". This board wd be in meltdown while Warnock would be down on his tractor in Cornwall and the head coach was down the pub getting drunk. Don't remember too many fans criticising the signings when they were made.

Also, with respect think you ask the wrong question - how far Hughes falls short of your expectations is irrelevant. The question is whether a new manager would make QPR stronger, long term and short term.

one answer about warnock, he knew how to win away, the team had fight and spirit, hughes team is missing all those.

You brought up the money he's spent and getting even more players in. So it's Hughes' fault that individual errors occur? So you will be 1st to lead the plaudits for Hughes with Adel's two goals individual brilliance and Granero's goal too?
All I will say about the team selection is do you honestly think that you me or any poster on here are seeing something he is not? There must be a reason for him playing these players in front of Hoilett, injury? better defensive contribution? ...I don't know but there's got to be more to it than he's just doing it to p*ss you or any of us off

Always tempting to look back with rose tinted glasses on a former manager. think every single fan agreed we needed a better class of player to stay in the prem and there were strong doubts that Warnock cd manage them. yes he did well for a while but six weeks into the season he and us had been found out and was just limping on, clueless.

                    1. had more points than we have now, 2. had away wins, 3. never promised anything

as for hughes, no away wins in a year, promises already broken, possible funnier excuses for bad game

if we kick off now and everton turn up at 3 tommoz,we would still throw our lead away.

i should have stated at the start, never wanted hughes, never liked hughes, so going to jump on anything going wrong, will back the players all the time, but not the manager

What promise has he broken? The "we won't be in this position again while I'm manager".... I understood to mean we would not be in the position of having to win our last game of the season to stay up.
