    Pull your finger out!

We need to sign Jermaine up asap, the longer we leave it the worse it gets!
We're Queens Park Rangers, we rule supreme

Ollie confirming he got an excited phone call from GP when he was on holiday shouting "I got Ian Evatt - only quarter of a mill!!!!!!!" just goes to show his attitude to transfers and talent spotting.

A few years back we had this fella on trial and the football genius and his puppet of the time, Mr Gary Waddock, watched this bloke have a good few games but decided they didn't want to stump up £150k for him. A local lad from Harrow this fella was and he'd of loved to stay in the area as he was never going to make it playing for the **** as Dogbra a bit difficult to dislodge at the time! But QPR said "no thanks" - we'll sign Preston's reserve centre forward on mind boggling wages sometime in the future instead.

So off this lad goes to S****horpe.

His name you'll probably of already guessed - Mr Jermaine Beckford.

So can you imagine the total and utter embarassment our man of the people would feel of having to bid north of a million quid for the fella he could've signed for a TENTH of that?

Forget Beckford - instead look to a struggling striker in the prem who we'll take on loan as that's about as good as it'll get.

We could always sign another midfielder though......

Oh dear Oh dear, not a single response from the GP crew ;D ;D ;D

Well seeing as we told the world we'd spent £3.5million on an unknown Argie, its no wonder they want silly money!

            What's silly money though?

Agreed, £4-5m seems over the top, but if It gets us up...

I hear they want £10, but that's not gonna happen. Persistance could pay off. Beckford will be worth the money and they'd be fools not to take it as he'll go for peanuts in Jan, but by then...it could be too late for us to bid. Look at Ben Watson.

Beckford is out of contract in june,so this time i agree it would be foolish to pay £3 million for him.

                And lose him like Watson?

When the time comes...everyone will want him on the cheap, so we need to move now. Besides...Jan is too late as we'll be well off the pace by then.

we wanted £10M for 5hittu or was it Cookie or was it both of them neither went for a fraction of what the club wanted, it's called fending a club off
but at the end of the day if a club wants a player badly enough, it will get his man.

if we are serious in challenging for promotion we have to pay the going rate, what ever it is, too many have slipped by (can't be R's'd to name them all) or were they all "over priced"

get real lads the wool is being well & truly pushed over your eyes

                  shakes head in disbelief :what:

we're counter-bid that with Agyemang HH Hall (those 3 alone would save the club 100's of thousands) Alberti & Mahon plus £10

                      what do you think
