Correct,Pubs got turned over and the Bumpkins were up for it. Remember a rangers lad getting cut up badly, slashed his face up and he came into the ground in the second half with staples holding his face together.

Vale away when we went there in our relegation six pointer was naughty before and after. If I recall right one QPR fan done the pitch on his own and headed for the home end for a shoeing

                Remember that well

That was real toe to toe between all the coaches and you had no choice but to be involved as there was no way out

I remember that police dog getting a punch on the nose which stopped him biting anyway!

Talking of police dogs, does anyone recall that police dog getting killed away at Ipswich when it really kicked off at that league cup game?

Luton away in the 80s. Came out after the games and there were Rangers at one end of the Street and Luton at the other and they just charged at each other.

Anfield in the 80s, midweek game and a nice walk through Stanley Park in the dark!

Bradford when they had to win to stay up. Was in a pub and having a bit of a laugh with some of their lads. As we left one of them said, 'By the way, if we lose today, you're going to get battered. Enjoy the match'.

Barnsley away in the 90s. They'd started the season well but we went there and we won. Cars were getting turned over and loads of stuff getting thrown about. Bit of a scary walk to the car.

For me, it's the fear of a kicking that's worse than the kicking itself!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

i remember a night game with Charlton in the cup at Selhurst , the floodlights went off during the match , and all manner of stuff was getting chucked between the two sets of fans on the Holmesdale terrace,i got hit in the face with a 50 pence piece. Then it went off outside and again later after Rangers had gone , between local Palace and Charlton down by the Selhurst Arms

Last time I went to wall away was a bit hairy . No toe rags on the station after the normal holding back process and things were uncomfortably quiet . Train went a weird route and when we got off at London bridge bang there they all were ! No actual grief personally but got separated from the group I was in as I had to get back to the south coast , head down get out of here stuff but a good laugh none the less
