I see John Terry has decided not to appeal his fine and ban, and has apologised for his language.

    Shall we forgive him then?
    Nah
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Of course, this all comes after the Serbia match. Am I cynical to think he'd have appealed if that hadn't happened?

Same sort of thought crossed my mind. Irrespective the whole process needs to be sorted out to stop this sort of thing happening in the future
For me the EPL (not the FA) needs to introduce a strict code of conduct and a clear tariff needs to be written down for all to see. So if you are found guilty of a charge then it will be x number of games and £x fine and all these fines should be used to run ssome sort of charity/ hopspital wing or whatever rather than just finding their way into the FA coffers

I can't see how he even thought about appealing , the way the black chelsea player turned and looked at terry said it all for me maybe he should have been called to give evidence at the trial then the Bitch might have been found out

Would've deffo appealed had it not been for the serbia game. also think he's been advised that an appeal may have been seen as frivilous and with whats going on his ban would've more likely to have been increased?
              nothing about being sorry

It's possible, but I'm not sure Terry cares about anyone else enough for him to make any kind of sacrifice that shows him in a worse light.

He's not appealing because he knows he can't possibly win that appeal IMO.

He has been punished by Chelsea too........................don't know what that punishment is..........but apparently he is still captain of the team.
Maybe he has to promise to only shag team-mates wives/girlfriends who are imminently going to be transfered, they could use it as a way of letting players know they are no longer wanted by CFC....................Find JT in your bed?.....................start looking for a new club!

And he still hasn't apologised to Anton yet. So, not that sorry, then?

He won't I suppose it could be seen as an admission of guilt. What he's doing here is saying ok I'll put up with the verdict of the independent panel

Yeah saw that on ssn, actually just watching now Jason Roberts is planning on not wearing a kick it out t-shirt this weekend and apparently there are other players planning to follow suit
as he and they are disillusioned with the campaign

FINALLY manned up! Wonders will never cease.

Hardly 'manned' up am afraid as he never actually apologised to Anton and the statement put out was carefully crafted by his legal/PR team designed to try and limit the damage already done... As for the internal 'punishment'..... Well, he probably lost the use of his parking space for an hour or something equally as trivial....:(
