I was honestly just about to write a post about the offical site.
It's so poor, my dad is coming down to Hampshire this weekend so I've been looking at clubs in Hampshire for him and his girlfriend(who loves football) to go to and the non league websites are so much better then the trash we've got in the Premier LeagueUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

At least they've got rid of that stupid splash page where it was impossible to see the "Enter Site" button.
The mobile version of the site looks really bad, like one of those GeoCities sites from back in the late 90s.
At least we know we aren't the only one's suffering, seems like a lot of clubs have the same design.
The official website of Norwich City Football Club, featuring first team news, club updates, ticketing information and retail products. | Sign up to a One City account to enjoy all that’s available | Norwich City Football Club
Compare those site to Arsenal's (who regularly win awards for sports website design) and Manchester United's; the gulf is huge!
I actually find it baffling that Premier League football clubs would chose to use out of the box web designs rather that create something that shows the club off to the worldwide market and is also functional enough to people to navigate quickly to buy tickets, view fixtures, etc.
How about fine Rob Green a weeks wages and give the £50,000 to a good web development agency to do a rebuild?
Rant over!

i personally think in terms of content it is miles better than what it was. I think they only just managed to get the 03/04 parade pictures up in April...
It is not a good lay out but they are a lot more proactive in getting news across. All i use it for really.
