they gave the England captain a 4 game ban and have left the door open for him to play for his country again.
Had they not pursued the Terry case through their own discipline process then you would have a point but they did. As for a 4 game sanction then point the finger at the commission.
Irrespective the Terry incident was down to one man, one word but what happened last night was in a different league both in terms of number of incidents, the number of people abusing and it seems the some who are in a position of authourity with Serbian FA

Its not just their Football fans, its the whole area and has always been like it. Went to Leskovac in the late 80's with a group of lads (two of which were black) and lets just say we were not made to feel welcome :-). Feared for our lives a couple of times and ended up going to Sofia across the border just to get out of the country where we felt much more secure. Serbia is country full of Bond villians :-) . Just watched the footage for the first time and it is shocking...well done Danny Rose for leaving the pitch without aggravating the crowd more. Dog of a country and i hope FIFA/UEFA throw the book at them and ban them from all comps...although we know that wont really happen.

2) Was JT monkey-chanting and being overtly/unambiguously racist?
On your JT point if me or you used the words FBC whether we were upset, stressed, or angry we would have been done for it proper and if it was deemed to cause enough offence could have jailed. I just think our FA ain't covered themselves in glory,....they should complain... but...imo have no room to play the self-righteous card so to speak

Unbelievable, still in the dark ages it seems: http://www.london24.com/sport/serbia...buse_1_1659207

What is equally alarming is the Serbian authorities' complete denial of it:

Provoking a hostile crowd is a really bad idea. It's not a surprise at all, consider the punishments we give in this country for players who may incite supporters.
Serbia will still come off worse, but it's not exactly an injustice the FA have to answer a charge.
