  • Tony Fernandes prepared to offer Park Ji-sung time to find his feet at QPR

Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has backed star signing Park Ji-sung to come good following an indifferent start to the season.

The former Manchester United midfielder was made captain by manager Mark Hughes at the start of his debut campaign at Loftus Road, but the 31-year-old has been the subject of much criticism after failing to inspire a club that now finds itself rooted to the foot of the Premier League table.

Its great that TF is fully behind him, but I believe he should be relieved of the Captains armband.

I agree, only one man can take that armband right now and it's not AT.

I know disagreeing with you will not be the popular choice on here; but I do believe we should at least give AT a chance at the armband.

I'm assuming you are going for Nelsen?

Nelson is the stand out candidate but the question will always be, will he play in enough games?

I'd give it to Faurlin. Why?

Will be an ever present in the team
The fans love him- always key to being a successful Captain, especially at QPR
Time at the club- one of our longest serving players, which for me should be criteria of a Captain
Could raise his game even further and help him to mature even more.
              Ideal position for a Captain
Already gees the players up and tries to lead them
Will hopefully be with us for many years to come.

That was also my concern with Nelsen.
We need a captain that will be able to start almost every game.

                  Lovejoy: "No?!"

TF is very patient with Hughes.
TF is very patient with Park.
He's so damn patient we'll be relegeted before the impatience sets in.

Good shout. Ale Faurlin would be a great captain.

Yea exactly... I think he should be more knee jerk and act on every little thing the fans start screaming about. That would be great for the club and save us from relegation!

But is he(Park) really playing in his best position? If not, thatīs sort of the managerīs fault.
