I dnt think he dived , he was running full speed and the other guy was coming like a beast to tackle him from the side , his reaction was to avoid a horrible injury. I would do the same.

There were countless replays that showed Maloney did not clip him, but Bale is very good at the Norman Wisdom walk, which is a art in itself to do while you are running, and trip yourself.

Deepcut....that 'penalty' was almost as soft as ashley young going down after Derry brushed him...the previous week against Aston Villa, Bale dived to the ground without any contact whatsoever.....

Just because the scottish player is slightly dim shouldn't detract from the fact that Bale is a serial cheat....

Why would he say he touched him, if he wasn't sure that he did? What is there for him to gain from it?

I said before that Bale doesn't need encouragement to go down, but in this case Maloney clipped his leg which clipped his other leg, and it's pretty much impossible to stay up at that speed if that happens.

No no no.....I have a lot lower opinion of Bale

My suggestion that Maloney lacks intelligence was a tad harsh but surely he must have been aware that Bale cut in front of him with only one thing in his mind.....even if Maloney had made absolutely no contact, Bale was going to ground.......it's what he does.....
