The Leeds Chairman has already said that he'd rather keep him this season and risk losing him on a Bosman at the end of the season than sell him, unless someone comes in with a silly offer. With our tightfisted transfer controllers (whoever they may be!) there's more chance of us winning three on the bounce than getting Beckford!!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

        2015/2016, average at best.....

        2016/2017, same old, same old....

        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Still think WBA got Cox at a good price
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

There's silly offers and very silly offers.

£10m for a league one striker is wearing a red nose and extremely large shoes.

£4-5 would do it if we're persistant.

Ask his agent what he thinks?

Not tapping the player up really is it...just enquiring through the back door.

Oi don't be a perv, I don't want you talking about entering through the back door again
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Thats just a statement to keep the leeds faithful happy, didn't we put a similar price tag on perma-injured lee cook?

Despite his overall demeanor, Bates is no mug, if we were to offer 3million uo front plus the now obligatory add ons im sure he'd do business, there is no way he would risk losing him on a free in the summer.

We should keep Vine as the supporting striker to any poacher we bring in (if, if...). He would work well creating for a decent scorer.
