Think we will be around 15th at Christmas a few points above the drop zone - similar place to where we will finish, position wise, but hopefully by then we will be a good 7 or points clear so as not to give us all heart failure on last day of the season... again.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Seriously who is ready for another John Gregory-Gary Waddock-Paul Hart ...etc period? Yes Hughes has not delivered yet but I really don't see any manager who can handle the situation at the moment. We all know why Portsmouth are in League 1 at the moment and we know many years Spurs took to strengthen themselves. Bottom line is that we are stuck in a situation we need to keep Hughes and give him all the support and wait at least till the end of December. Remember how bad Wigan were last season when they most 8 games in a row before surprising everybody.

I'll start to judge him more after another 5 games, not just results....but who he plays where.

What I do like (errr almost trust) about Mark is that he was a winner, no nonsense, tough forward.

Not saying that translates into being a great manager...but I'm sure he hates losing as much as us. So I keep that in mind at the mo.

The fact that he was good up front has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with his mangerial ability. Or lack of it. And the fact that he hates loosing has nothing to do with it either, all managers hate loosing. If you just look at the facts, club form since he took charge pre window last season has been abysmal. He had the window, he had the summer. In the market he went for utility players rather than position specialists at the back except for two questionable GK purchases. On the pitch we've been found out tactically. Off it there's the baggage of his own team, the agent, Bowen etc etc.

The sooner this nettle is grasped the better, we'll be adrift soon.

Ted - what makes you think Harry would come? I can tell you one thing. He definitely won't if we're well adrift. Doesn't need it.

Leaving aside for the mo arguments about whether or not we rate him, I'd say he'd only even think about it if the call came sooner rather than later.

                          Why is Bowen "baggage"?

Ted,if QPR lose the next three homes, there is very little doubt that Hughes would be sacked (unless they win the 3 away games)
However, I don't think QPR will lose those games. I think QPR will pick up between 8-12 points from the next 7 games.

Agree & I think I covered that. I'm not happy, left frustrated by team, set up but I'm not going to repeat what been said on 100's of threads.

Purely saying it's these points that are allowing me to be patient for a few more weeks. If he was a wet blanket type of bloke, I'd be calling for his head now. Not saying that's right either....

                              Just a character thing.
