TF has come out and said he and his backers are 100% behind Hughes,he is the right man for the job and he WON'T be sacked, but how long will he continue that stance if our dreadful results continue much longer, does he say the same if we go into November without a win, even December without a win or does he draw a line.Owners and Hughes have already come out and a relagation battle won't happen this season so at what stage do they start worrying if things continue as they are,and at what stage will the fans turn on Hughes(if results don't improve).

I think he will give him until Christmas at least to start turning things around - realistically I think due to the amount of people we brought in and changes generally we all knew that this was going to to take time to bed in. Unfortunately for some they believed that everything would be great from the off. Injuries can be an excuse and I think if it wasnt the defenders which were affected by the injuries I would see it as an excuse but you need the foundation of the team GK and back four to be consistent and your best what ever they may be.
I think Mark hughes will turn it round. I think we need to get behind the team and stick together - We dont want to go back to the merry go round years of this club. We also dont want to see the Div 1 years either. A lot of people wanted Hughes in when Warnock was starting to falter. Remember this is QPR nothing is traightforward and nothing is ever easy for us. Thats what were used to But also strangely thats why were a passionate bunch of supporters.

I would guess that given Tony has come out and stated that he and his fellow board members back Hughes then I would guess they have clearly held conversations about our position and if we keep Hughes
Fair play to Tony I trust his judgement at this stage he got the Warnock call right. Loose to Everton and Arsenal and the pressure will be immense

when wba fans were singing "sacked in the morning" , qpr fans joined in too.
it's building, one more home loss and the hughes out stuff starts ....we are bottom, losing and had a few tankings too
where's the support for him then? you rarely hear a hughes' blue and white army cos few really wanted him from day 1....
no qpr manager has had the freedom to spend and bring in players on massive contracts before...hughes is not a media friendly kinda manager, ok but he doesn't seem to want to relate to US FANS either, whereas warnock did....and TF does.

How long we're Blackburn fans bleating on about Steve kean ?? Look at how negative they were vocally at home games and what a negative affect that had on the side !! It was like they were a man down before they started !! I know it's hard to support the manager when times are tough and he's making the same frustrating decisions week in week out but getting on his back will only have one affect IMO

I really do feel Hughes will get it right, we as fans just have to be patient. It isn't like previously with people like Mick Harford, John Gregory, Jim Magilton, when you had the feeling things had to change. Normally I would be chomping at the bit to get a new man in but I honestly don't feel this way at the moment and I don't think the majority of fans do either. I thought second half against WBA we dominated them and should really have salvaged a point. I think Hughes will have until Christmas to keep us in touch and I honestly believe we will finish mid table this season. Other teams were in our position last season and the season before and DIDN'T go down, so keep the faith.

I think he actually said 1000%, which is as meaningless as the usual football 110%. We all know that at a certain point that percentage figure will drop like a stone if the points don't come. The fans clearly aren't happy and have never really warmed to him, so he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt like a more popular personality type would. His perceived aloofness is contributing to the disaffection in the ranks (am I stating the bleedin' obvious here?)
In a nutshell he does himself no favours and I feel retribution will be swift and very very sudden if things carry on as they have been.

Can't see how this helps the club

TF and AB don't want to admit it because Hughes contract will be lovely and tight, but they have to do this before we are adrift.
I keep saying it because it's true: the form book does not lie, and our form with Hughes is diabolical. If they do nothing we could be gone by Christmas.

Perhaps if Hughes actually started a game where the fans could see he is trying to put a team together ie not playing Hill at full back not playing Onuha at full back, playing Hoillet instead of SWP, even perhaps dropping Park and definately starting Taarabt, we could then see that he knows the problems that we the fans can see, all the other managers are attacking Hills side of the pitchat the moment because they know he is too slow, not his fault i actually love the guys play when he is at centre back, but perhaps we should try playing 3 at the back, might work might not but at the moment this back four isnt 2 goals down within 25 mins at WBA and at home to West Ham just doesnt give the team any encouragement, we have lost before half time comes, surely there must be a defender from the younger players who could be given a chance, neve know could turn out to be a diamond.

Results will obviously dictate Hughes future. And I'm sure Fernandes and his board have a cut off point in their minds. But hey, what are to say, "We're gonna back him till 10, 12, 15 games?" Not gonna happen. No sensible board would come out with that as it puts more pressure on the manager and players and is totally unhelpful. Think Hughes will be here longer than some fans want and Fernandes must be applauded for his stance of not listening to the baying mob - for now - and giving his manager every opportunity to get it right. God knows, we've suffered in the past from knee-jerk sackings. 9 months in charge is almost putting him in the "Hall Of Fame" at this club.

Five games at least... then take it from there.
Everton and Arsenal won't be easy. We'll know quite a bit more about the team in the way we play but the results might not go our way and that's not something that we should knee jerk too.
After that we got Reading H, Stoke A and Southampton H. We should know after Southampton more or less which way our team is heading and would be more fair to judge Hughes' performance then.
