  • Granero Backs Hughes

“We know we have the best manager,” said the Spanish midfielder.

“It’s not his fault – it’s our fault. Against West Ham he told us what would happen and it did.

“It’s our fault – the people on the pitch. We are the ones who have to improve. The manager is doing great and for sure is the best manager.”

High praise for Hughes considering the level he has played at.

Still wont convince some knee jerk "experts" on here.

What else would you expect him to say when Hughes pursued him so much !!!

It's only a matter of time.

We all love the club, sometimes we all say and do things in the moment... this is hurting all of us.

We as fans have stuck together through good and bad times, we came out on top, and need to do it again right now.

He didnt have to say anything.

And if it not true he wont have made any friends with his new team mates.

        Why assume he's lying?

Good on the bloke for coming out and supporting " our manager". Would love it if Hughes could turn things around.
          Barton is Innocent ok....

Hughes told the pirate, 'say nice things about me or I'll make you walk the plank'. . .
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

You'd soon see the "hughes out" brigade disappear.

                Spot on

Far too many knee jerk reactions on here though not quite as bad as our sister site

I think it's fair to say no genuine fan wants Hughes to fail. It's our club and we want it to do well.

However, that shouldn't stop us criticising as and when we feel the need to.

Very true. I dont think Hughes (or the board) has got everything right.
But allot of the criticism has gone way beyond condtructive and into full blown knee jerk panic

Good on Granero certainly didn't need to say anything. Also good to see some players taking responsibility for at times have been very poor performances, worth remembering it was Mark who attracted these players

He is spot on. Yes I along with many others was very down again on the weekend but Hughes doesn't send the team out to fail, he doesn't train Anton Ferdinand to scuff a kick & not just clear the f *cking thing, he doesn't pick a team to lose. He can't do much more than put out what he thinks is our best side, he sees them train everyday so knows who's sharp mentally & physically & who's not.

Our defence has been decimated & I'm sure when we see Traore back playing 90 mins in the LB spot Bozzy RB & whoever CB (Hill & Nelsen for me) both no nonsense I will feel a whole lot more confident. Hill is not a LB & I slaughtered him Saturday which was unfair from myself as he'd go in goal if asked but as a CB I think he will do a job.

Keep the faith we have a very good manager in place.

agree...hill is all heart , said he would play anywhere for us...but he is being targeted as a dead cert to get around..fast players cruise past him and all managers now know that.
he basically said it himself we need fabio and armand back sharpish
