  • Marathon not a sprint!

We are 3 games into the season and everyone has jumped on the managers back already. Ill admit we definately need to bring in a quality striker but judging the players after 3 games is ridiculous. Give the lads time and after 10/15 games then feel free to #### the team off.

But surely the point is we are not judging the strikers after after 3 games, we are judging them on last seasons performances as well.

We struggled to score then and we are continuing to struggle now

We wont be a mile off the playoffs,we arnt that bad, or we could always just sack him and struggle to find a new manager and end up going another 3/4 games with a caretaker manger and then ending up with someone like aidy boothroyd?

It doesn't matter if we get Alex Ferguson in ( though if we were to sack Magilton I would bet we would find no1 to take the job ) we will not do well in this league until we have strikers up front who can score.

Got Watford up though, which is more than JM has achieved in his career.

Aidy may play hoofball but it works just fine for Stoke.

Im not saying in any way that we have made a good start, we have made a poor start but criticising the management style is just stupid 3 games in, maybe magilton is tinkering with the team because we havent won a league game yet?

I agree he has done more than magilton but even if we were winning we would still have people moaning because the football is boring and speaking to mates who support watford they say boothroyd is clueless and he hasnt exactly been snapped p by clubs since he has been available.

From what i have seen,it's not the team that needs tinkering with, just signing a man who can put the ball in the net.Blackpool game proved we can defend well and create chances from midfield.

And lessons in taking corners would not go amiss.

He can change the team until he is blue in the face, but without a decent striker we will only be mid-table fodder.

Reserving judgment on the team after 10/15 games into the season is a fundamentally illogical and flawed argument.

Nothing whatsoever to do with panicking.

Every single point gained and dropped in this league is crucial and potentially the difference between promotion, survival, or heaven forbid, relegation.

Wake up people - The season is already underway. It appears some have failed to see that.
