  • The Debate on the way back yesterday

Obviously loads of different opinions. But as a team are we:

    A) One which will come good after 10 games as many keep saying Hughes sides need 10 games to click

    B) A side which would improve noticeably under a new manager

    C) This is as good as it will get regardless of who is in charge

Personally I think its B dependent on the correct manager being chosen.

What did dawn on me regards Hughes is if he does remain and turn it around surely each season we cannot right off the first 10 games while his players get to grips with him that is a disaster waiting to happen and in all intents and purposes it makes it a 28 games season for us

Errrr Hughes was our manager last season, so how does he need a quarter of a season to "click"?

Good job Stoke kept us up - because MH didn't.

Agree with you mate I dont think the 10 game quote can apply season in season out but many are suggesting this side will come good after Hughes's usual 10 games. It dont wash with me I am afraid

I think A. And I think the mitigating circumstances are that there were 12 new players, (more than any other Premiership club, remember?) not 2 or 3 to bed into a side and that is gonna take time. Regarding next season, not so much of a turnover, so the 28 game season becomes a non-issue. Maybe a 34?

I would sack every manager as soon as they lose a game. Fans pay to see their clubs win and it's just not good enough when the result goes against what is paid for. Do clubs think they can just take money for players walking onto the pitch?

There should be a full refund if the team loses and 50% back for a draw. Mike Rigg should start to divert his attention to scouting managers instead of players, because we might need a few this season. If we don't like the team selection we should have a window on Twitter before the game so that changes can be made and players that are playing badly should have an earpiece so they can properly hear how sihte they are.

The club should also have counsellors on hand for post match trauma and/or subsidized prescriptions and booze to soften the impact of poor results.

there are some utter panic mongers on this board...and its so boring, agree bringing in 12 players mitigates results, qpr's infrastructure was abysmal as you would expect being out of top leagues for so long.
an amazing job is being done by the owners/managers. i beleive with time, a run without injuries and a little luck (SAF always says some is required) and we will come good
