  • Our strikers...

Now I know this debate has been done to death but watching the game tonight we started off with Agyemang and Taarabt up front though at the start Agyemang was playing more of a wide left position, then they swapped with Taarabt over to the left, neither of them had any impact on the game, Taarabt is clearly not a striker, Agyemang is clearly not a footballer.
We then ended with three strikers on Pepsicola seems a bit of a lump and can at least win a header though I've got a feeling he won't set the world alight, Vine seems to have lost what he had previously and Helguson rarely hits the broad side of a barn.

What I will say is that Magiltons tactics were bizarre dropping Helguson who scored on the weekend how is a striker supposed to get sum form and confidence if he scores and then gets dropped for that useless lump Agyemang.

We have one of if not THE weakest strike force in the league... You just cannot see where a goal is going to come from and with Agyemangs non existant movement or talent and Taarabt who is a winger we have no-one up front no pressure on their centre backs no-one to cross the ball to no-one to pick up any lose balls absolutely nothing you're just left waiting for another Ramage shanked cross.
