  • Fernandes: “My faith in Mark has not wavered. Not at all. I’m 1000% behind him."

QPR will not sack Mark Hughes even if the club are involved in a relegation battle for the rest of the season.

      Tony Fernandes!

Managers need that kind of backing so that they don't go into short term thinking and panic mode, which always makes things worse in the end.

At least he has a sensible head on and doesnt make knee jerk decisions like Flav. Well done TF.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

            Good for him tbf

It may turn out to be the wrong decision, but at least he's willing to take the gamble on stability.

We've tried knee-jerk sackings before. It's probably worth trying the other way just for once.

I hope his gamble pays off.

When MH chooses to play SWP instead of Hoilett and Hill at LB when Traore could have started or at least one of the youngsters it concerns me and then to bring Mackie on is ridiculas. MH is stupid.

This is what we need... stability.

Everyone saying sack MH, seem to forget all the peopla behind the scenes, like his team and Mike Rigg who are here becasue of him, and many of the p[layers came becasue of him.

It would cause massive unrest and be worse longterm imo.

WE will get a bit of luck, win ugly one game and move on from there with some belief. But we need our first choice defence to start games !

Yes, in principle I agree. I certainly don't want the rigmarole of a new manager all over again.

However I simply do not feel like MH is putting the correct work in on the training ground, and particularly with the backline. I just cannot see how it's possible. From game to game there's just not a semblance of progress in terms of organisation, we look like what we are which is a set of talented individuals getting to know each other as they go along. What did they do all week besides keep fit?

Injuries are not a factor to this extent, they will surely have an idea of who will be available next game more or less.

Has MH really forgotten so much (or become so arrogant) since his Blackburn days? The least you could say about that team was that they were well-drilled.

What is our first choice defence? All the combinations I've seen so far this season have been as bad as each other & we haven't got any good players to come back!

                        Another Hughes f*** up!

I don't think confidence is the issue tbh. When teams back off from us like WBA did second half we spray it about like lords. Some lovely stuff truth be told, if somewhat ineffective. The problem is when the oppo come back at us everyone's off doing their own thing and we're completely at sea. We defended counterattacks today like it had never crossed our minds that WBA could do such a thing.

Carry on like this and the best we'll do on a good day is maybe beat a couple of sides 5-4.

MH had defende issues at Man City from what I remember; a lot of high scoring games?

Well thats that. Best thing everyone can do now is get 100% behind the team.
