I only dropped Ferdinand because he has been injured but he looked short of fitness to me .

Ferdinand believes his own hype that he's good, he's awful Hill not up to this level, Onouha has to play CB or nowhere we have Traore on the bench and should've started, without Huges buying 2good C/Backs in Jan we're Deffo for the drop ? And that may be to late?

Nelsen's been alright, but I thought he would have been signed predominantly as cover.

Here's my assessment of our defence:

Traore - too unreliable to be a regular but bags of potential
M'bia - too soon to tell
Nelsen - rock solid
Hill - good CB, not as a LB
Onouha - not good enough
Ferdinand - not good enough
Fabio - good cover for Bosingwa
Bosingwa - decent RB

Hughes neglected the defence IMO and we need two CBs and a LB. Might sound harsh, but I don't think Ferdinand and Onouha are up to the required standard. Give me players like Ryan Shawcross and Michael Dawson any day.
