It was also nice to finally meet up with Peter. Following this very successful launch, a Press Release was issued on 21st September: ‘Local resident, Peter … Continue reading →

        yeah

yeah I think that after the war the bush was still a posh place when my dad came out the army thee was no houses that he could afford because the houses in the bush were large and cost 15 000
where as in fulham these little two up two downs cost 2000

but shepards bush got destroyed when the irish poured into shepards bush and brixton these two places were full of very large houses who wanted to make money from there properties

although now the irish and english enjoy a lot of love together

at that time it was differant the english resented these completely differant people and the pubs were a place where the two cultures definately didnt mix

and of course if an english girl went out with an irishman that caused yet more hate it was seen as an insult to the english family

this wasnt a protestant versus catholic issue

when paddy broke a glass in your face and you needed 100 stitches that was war

strangely what created the peace was the introduction of the jamaican who where much more dangerous as they carried knifes

so now a knife in the belly was worse the a glass in the face
violence erupted in kilburn after the galtimore club emptied it was irish v jamaican
so then race riots were to erupt and yes the irish fought on the side of the english

the notting race riots could have been possibley won by the english if brixton town didnt pour so many resourses into ladbroke grove

          and

and what brought peace between the irish english and jamaican was the introduction of indians and pakistanies

these were now the target of yet more hate and aggression,so now we have somalian and east european but our nation is such a melting pot that we cant bebotherd to all attack any minority
          any more
so shepards bush and brixton before the war nice and peacefull after the war a lunatic assylum

wormholt park I dont know much about except the qpr thugs of 1982 used to meet up with opposing fans there and fights did take place but thats about it really
