Firstly I hope the players get us a win on Saturday --- dont care what sort. Just a win. Please.
Any more displays like Wham, Reading, Narich & Swansealona then the club MUST ensure the players get a train back from games and we will unleash almighty hell on their backsides.
I'm slowly starting to sink into the depressing realiasation that current crop of recruits seem to be very similar to some other recent crops who didnt care a fark for the club. The only difference is bigger wage cheques and faster cars.
Not goodI need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

The most shocking away record imagineable. Hard to see us picking up points away.
When I left Spurs, I was gutted to have lost a game, when we should have been 3 up at half time, but I felt genuine cause for optimism because of the way we played. Just over a week later, after 2 kamikazi home performances, my confidence has diminished to the point of despair.
The thing that really effed me off on Monday was MH's failure to see that West Ham were going to outnumber us in midfield. We have better players than thme but their manager's tactics enabled them to beat us coz our manager had no plan to beat them.
I maintain West Ham and Reading are 2 very mediocre sides who will be in the bottom 5 come the end of the season, yet we couldn't even muster a draw against either of them on our home patch.
I don't think it's just the away form we need to worry about, the home form is sh..

Dismal and made worse by being predictable, although even those of us with massive doubts about Hughes and his ultra iffy business agent from the off could not have envisaged the abysmal current state of play.
My gut feeling was to sack him as soon as the final whistle went at Maine Road at the end of last season.
He has done nothing whatsoever in his business dealings, tactics or selection to make me change that view. Even if the players gel the tactics will be predictable and unimaginative. His sides play poor football and always have. I'm genuinely amazed that so many people here seem to rate him - once upon a time we were a football club, and that philosophy saw us climb from the depths to matching the very best in English football.
Then there is the problem of his interfering agent. Step forward Mr.Joorabchian, the real power in our transfer dealings (most recently Julio Cesar). We know what happens when the club is at the mercy of third party business interests. We've been here before. Joora is far smarter in terms of football business than Tony or Amit, he's well fly, intelligent, highly experienced and unfortunately he keepes Sparky in his back pocket. He sold Hughes to TF, and its odds on getting rid will cost us big time as a result. But it has to be done.Last edited by hal9thou; 05-10-2012, 01:57 PM.
