  • Can Hughes drop Park?

Ok, so it seems that most fans think that SWP and Park should be dropped for Hoilett and Tarbs, and that we should have a central midfield of Granero, Diakite and Faurlin.

The question is, will MH be willing to do this, even if he himself thinks this is the best formation. He has after all bought Park and made him captain, do you really think he would drop his captain after 6 games? I really hope MH does what he thinks is best, and not put his ego in the way.

Do you think fernandes will let him do it? The asians love him, the ground was full of them at the cup game.

Fernandes wont want to **** off the asians as it would reflect badly on his airline

said it before said it again......park soley brought in to raise awairness n sell merchandise in se aisa..this is a big mistake by tf imho as park clearly struggle in a mediocre team like ours....man utd historically helped lesser players look ok due to better palyers around them....recently liam miller/john o shea/park/macheda all examples of this...worryingly we've signed three of em!
      you know nothing john snow!!!!

Well he already substituted him so I see no problem.

I'm sure Hughes isn't an idiot so finally should know his best team and that doesn't include Park and SWP

He looked decent for a few matches but is really struggling now and I don't think warrants a place in the starting 11! I'm not sure what Hughes was thinking when he made him captain but I think he'll have no choice but to drop him at this point, if he doesn't he may very well be putting his own job in jeopardy regardless of what TF is saying!

I think Park looks pretty decent on the right hand side, but if he doesnt play there, then he shouldnt play at all. We have Hoilett, Adel, and even SWP who will be better on the left than Park.

This is the thing. Park is better suited at RM or CM. A LM he is not, and it's a bit unfair on him because Hughes won't play in his better positions.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Course he can. He subbed him so he sint afraid to show he is irriplacable. Also, Sparkie dropped Joey last season as skipper so he has shown previously he is willing to drop the skipper.

WHU & Reading I believe. Was probably our most consistant performer up until then, IMO.

Maybe he doesn't like playing against the tough tackling, less skilled physical teams! He was ducking out of tackles vs WHU, I didn't see the Reading match!

He was absolute sh*t against Reading and I thought there's no way he could get worse.

                          He did.

Have to agree here. He doesn't seem to like the physical side, but plays well against more technical sides like Chelsea, city and spurs. That's the biggest flaw in our midfield, not enough strength and grit, and parks not the only culprit. With a midfield of park, SWP, Granero and Faurlin (who is an excellent tackler by the way), we lack strength big time. I say play Diakite or move Mbia to centre mid with Nelsen and Anton in defence.

Hughes must drop Park!! He has been one of our worst players this season, but I thinks that's mainly because he has been played out of position. I know for Korea and United he has played mostly as a winger, but he's 31 now, and if you've seen him play for us, then you'll know he lacks pace and he can't deliver a good cross. I think, just like with Ryan Giggs, Park should be moved into the centre of midfield because he will work his socks off, which is his biggest quality.
Unfortunately for Park, though, I don't think he's good enough to start in the centre of midfielder at the moment, because I wouldn't want Hughes to drop Faurlin and/or Granero because these 2 players ensure we keep possession the majority of the time. That said, Granero and Faurlin are not the kind of players that get beyond the defence, that's why we need Taarabt and Hoilett in the side too. So for me, the only place for Park right now is on the bench, and the captains armband should be handed over to Anton Ferdinand, someone who is going to always play
