  • So we lost again

    And I'm not surprised Tony Fernandes has come out and staunchly defended Mark Hughes after all Hughes kept us up last year and the club is undergoing a complete restructure from grass roots level to the first team.

    A few things that I find worrying;

    * Cesar signing huge money when we already had signed Rober Green? I cant help but think this may have been a Kia signing.

    * The speculation with the Mittalls it's not helping matters.

    * Does Hughes really know his first team yet? He left out Adel last night the one player who can change games, Hoilett also on the bench?

    * Our away record under Hughes it shocking.

    It's early days yet and before people jump on the bandwagon regarding saying I have got it in for the manager thats not the case.

    I think Mark Hughes will be an excellent manager if he is given time, however in the Premier League time is a precious commodity.

    Hughes in my opinion will be given 5 more games.

    If we are still bottom the board will have to make a difficult decision

    Hughes didn't keep us up the players did and with a little help from Stoke beating Bolton in the last game or we would have been doomed remember.

    NPower Champions 2010/2011

      How is it the players kept us up but it is Hughes fault now and not those players?

        I don't believe the above, I think Cesar became available and it was to good an opportunity to turn down, that added to the fact he soon realised what most of us knew for some time, Green is aptly named, it reflects his goalkeeping skills!
        Kept the faith!

              Looking at the thread again you didn't but there seems plenty on here that do. (by the way I am not absolving him!)
