  • No width last night

Yes we got bullied and outnumbered in midfield, but with a bit of width we could have bypassed that.
We didn't have any full backs who could get forward, and the wide midfeilders weren't up to it.
Hill did what he could, but he's never going to sprint down the line like Traore.
Onuaha doesn't seem to want to get forward like Luke Young.
Park hasn't got the pace to beat people, and SWP seems to be having a crisis of confidence.
Between the four of them there was not a cross of any note, if you are playing two men up top, they have to have some service from the wings.

We were a lot better when Adel and Hoilett came on, allowing us round the side of the packed midfield, and for 20 mins, I thought it was going to be a queation of not when will we score but how many, Samba getting a bit ahead of himself in a couple of tackles put an end to whatever we could have done.

I know MH got slated for one up front in previous games (not least by me), but I would have sacrificed one of them for some width last nigh.

we did get clogged in a busy midfield....we are trying to be arsenal and even they struggled at times with their flowing football..accused of over passing, sometimes you need to be direct and clinical.
