  • Are we for real...

Some of us 'So called fans' really need to wake up.

What planet are you on saying Nedum and Park are useless? Are you kidding me...

So we lost... (Only six games in)

I am as disappointed as the rest of you but I never give up hope and I NEVER BOO my own team.

The fact is - We all wanted new signings. We all said Mackie and Derry are not first team prem players.

The fact is we have that change and investment and you still complain.

We finally have stability and a solid foundation for the future, so yes I am still happy and positive.

    HONESTLY -

    - No we didnt turn up till 60 minutes (Hughes should have had Adel on before half time if anything)
    - It was clear before the game that we needed Diakite to bolster our Midfield (We was over-run with the three WHU had)

    - BUT - We showed signs of promise
    - We have players out

Things will turn around, but saying players are ****e when they have won Champions Leagues etc is total ********. Get behind the team for **** sake... OR JUST DONT POST. Its not a view, its a ****ing moan and it pisses me off hearing it. You'll be the first to celebrate if we win/score and then say how well Park played.

Fella if you honestly think Onourha is doing ok then you need help. The guy is dreadful as he was last season. People saying 'he aint a right back' are right but then look how he played when centre half last year alongside Ferdinand, they were **** fc uking poor. He isnt solely the reason we are where we are but he has contributed.

'EDIT' This is a debate not a 'dig out'; everyone is allowed their own view on what is happening at our club; please keep it civil & if you are unable to respect others views without retorting to insults, then resist the urge to reply - thank you.

The fact Park has won the Champions League is totally irrelevant. SAF thinks he isn't good enough to play for UTD now and they are a worse team now as well.

Also, the fact that he may be used to that stature of club can means he cba at smaller clubs - it's happened many times.

For the record, I don't think he is useless - I think the blame for the start is with MH, especially last night as it was a tactical defeat IMHO. And no, I am not calling for his head, just saying he should take the responsibility for the poor start.

          Good post.
Unfortunately, expectation is high and after 12 signings in the summer, we should be in a better place than we are.
Not pressing panic buttons but eventually confidence takes a dip and winning games is harder at the bottom.
My biggest issue is that we didn't sign a leader at the back, someone to take charge and organise. MH seems to be making bad calls at the moment. Why no Hoilett, when he's played well in the last few games. SWP is living on past glories. Why play 2 ball players in the middle, when they have 3 agressive hustlers, knocking them off their stride? Why persist with Cisse, who is a shadow of last year?
I'm not panicking, but am getting concerned

My post was trying to understand and recgonise the feelings of the people who are angry.

            - Cisse has a huge Ego (But scores goals...)
            - Park works his t1ts off for us and is yet to get a reward for it (UNSUNG HERO)

Granero and Faurlin both played average last night but not once has anyone notice or stated this.

I love them both and they are great players for the hoops.. But facts remain that they didnt work hard enough and gave the ball away .... However if Diakite was also in the middle with them I think we may have stood half a chance .... Yes MH got this wrong which he openly admitted.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiments of the original poster and I really do not want to see knee jerk reactions made, I have to say I am concerned.

I think Hughes has put together a squad of expensive misfits with no balance at all and little thought of how the team will fit together. Any thoughts I had of us being too good to go down have now gone and I'm seriously concerned that we are gonna be down there fighting it out again this season!

Cisse is a talent but looked lazy or tired.
Park is not unsung - he has had plaudits thoughout his career and his bank balance will suggets he does get rewarded for it.

As for Faurlin and Granero - W12 started an entire thread saying they were at fault. So, I think things have been covered.

yup 6 games in and we'd like to be doing better but we have to remember we were out of the prem for 16 years and stayed up by the skin of our teeth last season. so regardless of new signings success wasn't going to come overnight. i am prepared to be patient, but yeah it gets frustrating when you feel we snatch defeat from the jaws of almost-victory (spurs, diakite's sending off, the reading cup game etc.). that said, i simply can't wait for our first 3 points. we all need it for the confidence boost.

i rate park - but like anyone else, he may have an off day every now and then. a good role model and a great professional so i don't see his cba attitude in evidence. i do feel hughes is playing him out of position and presumably has his reasons for this.

onuoha however...i didn't rate him last season and i still don't rate him this season. yes he is an improvement on orr but to be honest my mate dave from down the pub would probably be an improvement on orr. the problem with onuoha is that when we signed him there was quite a lot of hype, which he hasn't lived up to, and he does not instil me with confidence at the back.
                  come on you r's!

                        OP

                        Step away from the dope.

If you think Onouha is doing as well as he can & park has been effective I would suggest you take up another sport to watch because you simply haven't a scooby.

                            @qpr4life

You're out of order for having a pop at 'so-called' fans who complain about what's happening with the team. 6 games in with a load of talented players and we're bottom and out of one cup. I remember all this keep the faith nonsense during 1996 when Wilkins was in charge. I did, and we got relegated.

So what do YOU do at the end of a game when we've played rubbish in a game we expect to win? Boo or cheer the losers off the pitch as though everything is ok and we'll do better next time? Paying supporters have every right to show their displeasure if they've been served up with dross at games. If people come onto a forum and want to berate players, then who are YOU to tell them to shut up?

If players aren't performing, then fans have every right to make comments about them. These guys are earning tens of thousands a week and criticism comes with the territory and the high salary. Remember when Joey got booed? He said the fans were right and he needed a kick up the khyber. If I was a player and underperforming, I'd expect to get stick.

If you really are that sensitive and don't like hearing or reading negative comments about our team, which is BOTTOM of the league, then don't read forums or go to games because you aren't going to stop it. Fans are going to have their say whether you like it or not, and if you don't like it, then at least respect their right to have their say rather than criticise them for doing so.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Rich; QPR4Life had his post where his was digging out another posted edited; he has replied back with a much better structured response that does not include any digs at any posters on here; yes we are all intitled to our opinions, but digging each other out is not the way; I understand that players will be criticized & at times so called fans may say some negative things about our club in the heat of the moment; but I am also in the camp that has NEVER boo'd my team no matter how bad things got in the past; maybe JB enjoys the hostility & it makes him perform far better, but I don't think all players have the same mentality as our Joey.

I don't think QPR4LIFE is being sensitive, I just think that like myself, he will always back our team 110% regardless of the dross that may be happening out on the field.
