  • Hughes does not know his best team or formation which is worrying........

Yes, we have had injuries at the back, but offensively we are looking woeful as well. Everyone has been banging on about 4-4-2 at home, but for me Cisse does not deserve to be in the starting 11 at the moment. He was poor against Reading albeit he got a late goal, but last night he was woeful, so our best formation would be a 4-2-3-1, 4-5-1 or a 4-1-1. How Hoilett got dropped after his performance against Spurs and Reading I don't know?

Hughes dropped a massive b()ll()ck making Park as a captain because he now can't drop him. Park has great energy, but he is very predictable. He cuts in every time onto his right foot and narrows down the pitch. Going down that flank especially at home he is taking the place of people like Tarabat and Hoilett. Not once yesterday did I see him geeing up the team and giving them a rollocking.

I am fearing for this side. It lacks so much desire and fight and I ask myself again after last season why we didn't go out and buy a proper centre half? Instead we're paying a keeper 50k to sit on the bench and do sweet FA.

I am on the fence at the moment with Hughes, but the club have backed him with so much investment in players, coaching staff and infra structure that he really has to sort it out sharpish. Stop blaming injuries. It was his fault he bought 50 midfielders rather than focussing on signing proper defenders who can actually defend.

West Brom like last season is massive because we will get f**k all at the Emirates. And we all know wha happened last season with a 'must win' at West Brom?
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Hit the nail on the head.

Why cant Hughes have some consistency with his starting 11 as well? This constant changing is doing my head in. Obviously im not talking about the injuries, but with players like Hoillett who are in and out almost every week. Taraabt has to start next match too.

I have stated on several posts that our defence conceded 66 goals last season compared to Fulham 51, WBA 52, Swansea 51, Stoke 53 and Sunderland 46.
WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED WITH PROPER QUALITY DEFENDERS WHO CAN CONCENTRATE FOR 90 MINUTES, HAVE POSITIONAL AWARENESS AND THE ABILITY TO PASS A BALL TO A PLAYER N THE SAME TEAM.Unfortunately, until this is sorted, we've got serious problems
The injured players, esp Boswinga and Fabio are much better full backs for starters. TBF, can't blame Hughes they're injured

Agree with everything there fella.Hughes has to admit he has made a dangerous mistake a club of our size having 2 keepers on 50 grand or more a week, christ i bet even someone like Liverpool aint paying that for their reserve, TF should of made Hughes pick one or the other.
I was absolutely stunned to see Hoillett on the bench after his 2 recent performances. I had spent the last week telling my West Ham mates how he was gonna be a threat and then Hughes leaves him on the bench.

Can't see us getting anything at all at west brom tbh, nor Arsenal, which would leave us on 2 points nearly in November.....
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Until Hughes drops SWP and start Hoilett, I will start to think we have some consitency.
