  • Faurlin the saviour!...

Again the golden boy who can do any wrong with the majority is again found wanting not at the races! Slower than usual and carrying a bit too much timber! Simply cannot start with Granerro They are too alike and the way Noble ran him ragged was enough proof!

Faurlin & Granero very poor last night needed help against a 5 in midfield but Hughes should have adressed the problem earlier in the game we could all see we were being over run in midfield should have brought Diakite on after 30 mins

Short memories. Faurlin n Granero bossed spurs midfield so it's clear They can play together but it's oppo depending . Last night they were bullied by the 3 cms of Spam. Oppo like that we need to mix it up .
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Agreed Matty, I said last night, that they have looked good against footballing sides. MH needs to be more tactically aware against the more physical sides. They are 2 quality players who like to pass and dictate. Physical teams are not going to allow that and we have to give them some physical support in the middle. Why can't MH see this. When the teams lined up, it was obvious to me what was going to happen. Allardyce had done his homework, MH hadn't.

Ridiculous OP. 3 vs 2, no movement from the strikers or the wingers to give them an out ball. What were Faurlin and Granero supposed to do? They were let down by their manager and team mates.

See where you're coming from but possibly if he was on the pitch earlier he may have been sent off earlier meaning even longer with 10 men.
I think Adel should have come on earlier though, even started. Now then we would have seen a difference imo.

We should play five in midfield and one upfront because Cisse and Zamora can't play together! They're like a poor version of Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba. I hope Hughes starts to play Taarabt, Granero, Diakite, Faurlin and Hoilett in midfielder and Zamora upfront on his own. The big man will get help in attack from the likes of Taarabt and Hoilett

One of the more stupid aspects of the modern game, along with stewards going apoplectic whenever a player celebrates his goal with his fans. Bonkers.

Faullin was poor last night and not just because he was outnumbered, his distribution was poor. Still a quality player though

Adel was booked for displaying an undershirt with a religious message (I LOVE ALLAH) on it which is against F.A. Rules
No adverts, political or religious messages are allowed on any under garments!

hence the booking a silly one really as was Cisse booking on Wed for removing his shirt when he score, sadly thes guys don't learn they are told time & time again not to do it!
