Opinions on him aside, as thats a debate thats been had 50 times previously, I dont think there is any chance he will ever play for us again tbh.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

i stated consistently that we needed to keep joey, as i recall i was called an attention seeker and in his words "a *****" (by someone who talks about bints alot).seems there were others at the time who stated the same
thoughts on joey. btw never said anything about the one who called me a *****..but like to say now i think the same about him.....anyway we need joey back!

ive always been in favor of barton , he is a leader on the pitch and always wants the ball . however he is a marked man in the PL every manager will tell his team to wind up barton and watch him retaliate , i doubt if he has enough about him to behave , i hope im proved wrong

As for his 'leadership qualities' - yes, he really showed them against Manchester City, didn't he? A massively overrated player with a huge ego. He will always be more interested in his Twitter account than football. There is absolutely no way that he is the answer to our problems.
Bit harsh calling people clueless just because they have a different opinion about a player than you do. If someone disagrees with your rating of a player, does that make you clueless too?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I accept I shouldn't have used the word 'clueless', but in my view calling for Barton is a sign of utter desperation. People seem to be forgetting just how bad he was for the majority of the campaign.

Why dwell on the past? Do you not think he has enough about him to help our situation?

From what I remember when he was in the process of signing this & other QPR messageboards were going into meltdown wanting to know if he'd signed. Yes he was very frustrating but you don't become bad overnight & we are lacking leadership badly & I personally think he could help us. But I respect others who may not think the same, that's fair enough.

Fair post......I think he is a pretty decent footballer if and when he stops talking a good game and gets on with it......but he just didn't do enough for us last season to suggest that HE is the answer to our current woes....

We'll get a couple of wins under our belt and he will soon slip from our consciousness.......
