Looking at the threads of the last few days.....I would suggest that I'm not the one being a drama queen........

Yes Joey, come back, you are the epitome of invariably excellent performances, respectful attitude to your team-mates (especially young uns) and unfalteringly sporting behaviour on the pitch, you are exactly what this team needs now to completely gel.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Until things turn around on the pitch we will be hearing how every unemployed manager is the man for us........every ex player was the best we ever had......every player on the bench is a world beater......

f*** me .......I hope we get a win soon.....

Same as that. Or we can rely on other midfield tough nut Diakite who still hasn't learned in how long how to time a tackle leaving us outnumbered & chasing shadows in midfield. We are in the trenches & we need big characters to help drag us out of it.

Yes he was dreadful that day, but I wish he was with us now. Would you prefer Joey or Dyer/Ephraim?

Was thinking, Joey could've stayed, sat out his ban, and be ready in a few games. That's all that would be left on his ban. I know some might say it's a waste of a place, but how many games has Ephraim played? How much game time has Derry had?

I think we should have kept him personally.

it wasnt just that day, for most of the season up to that point he was rubbish.
its a difficult one because dyer and ephraim aren't centre mids. maybe dyer out and barton into the 25, just purely because of dyer's injury record. but i definitely wouldnt have barton above granero/faurlin/diakite/mbia/park in the pecking order.

I would be happy to have Barton back when his bans up but it we dont have him someone in our midfield need to grow a pair and start putting it about so we're not getting bullied, If that means using Diakite or M'bia as an enforcer for the sake of leaving our our Captain Park then fair enough as he's done very little to impress at the moment. midfield should be
                              Taarabt Granero Diakite Faurlin Hoillett

Oh dear, some of our supporters really are clueless. With the exception of the last few home matches of the previous campaign, Joey Barton was absolutely useless for QPR. I lost count of the number of abysmal set pieces he was responsible for, as well as the amount of times he gave away possession inside his own half. As for his 'leadership qualities' - yes, he really showed them against Manchester City, didn't he? A massively overrated player with a huge ego. He will always be more interested in his Twitter account than football. There is absolutely no way that he is the answer to our problems.
