I actually think he was just a little too fired up. He's been away from the squad for whatever reason, had not been at his best in the first 2 games. The Diakite we saw today was the one from last season. somone needed to go flying in on that big brute diame and the rest of those c.u.nts. The first yellow was fine, the second he needed then to just hold back. I should also add that it was a shocking layoff from one of our players that led to the issues. I just hope hughes doesn't hold this against him.....like warnock and traore. We lost the game in the first half though.

He would get a lot more benefit from the ref if he tries to look understanding and put his hand up and apologise if he commits a foul. Refs like that and cut you some slack... Instead of when you looked shocked and incensed when the whistle blows. Of course we must realise that to get to grips with all these things it's very hard for him right now when he's probably got a lot of things in his mind.

england intrnationals get preferential treatment in the prem, we all know this. for exmple noble could have been sent off in the last few minutes for his fowl on hoillet i think it was
samba is too hot headed though, but u now he's just trying to help a bit too hard. at least he cares though! more than u can say about much of the team.

to me, samba should have started... maybe hughes didn't do that because he thought that was too risky (and if so, he was right and i was wrong). when he can avoid getting a second yellow (has he ever avoided a first yellow?), then he's a wonder - a swaggering force in the midfield that scares the pants off of opposition players.

This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

tonight was a repeat of his debut, losing a game, 2 rash challenges and he's off
we need him to learn how to either tackle fairly or jockey with the opponent and not jump in
