What are your thoughts now? I'm probably going to be in a minority but I think he's vital to us. He's raw and can be rash but we need his bite and drive in midfield. For all the nice passing of granero and faurlin, they can get bullied like by diame today. It's the managers job to take a talented player like samba and ensure that he controls his challenges in games. We need him to progress in this league

          quality... needs two things:

          1 - more games
2 - understand how not to get more than at least one yellow card per game

I really like him, he is strong on the ball, he can surge forward, he wins the ball well, he gives a real edge to the midfield ... sadly he also gets sent off.

Absolute liability, no doubting he his talent but is it worth the risk playing him when he manages to get sent offf within 15mins!

Someone needs to get him a fraction of a second quicker in the tackle, or to take a fraction of a second more to think about whether he should dive in.

He could be an amazing player, but if he continues to be a liability in the tackle, Hughes will not take the risk, especially when we are in desperate need of points. He now has a reputation as a rash tackler, and refs will not give him the benefit of the doubt.

The strength, turn and burst forward with the ball when he first came on was awesome though. Brilliant.

Great coming forward but can't tackle for toffee....don't know what his best position is; in a midfield 2, midfield 3, behind forward, at another club....?

If he hadn't got that second yellow we would be looking at a draw at least. If only there was someone on the pitch that he would listen to, in order get him to calm down and not get a red card!! The guy still got a lot to learn but I understand how it may be a tough task to get him to...
Don't know whether he'll be a great asset in the future or just someone who didn't achieve his potential.

Well considering he helped turn the game for us hard to be too angry, very reckless but wish ref had given him a chance. If only he was English and white.
