Drop SWP and Park? I agree. If Park is to play he should be in centre midfield and not wide left or right.

The tactics were largely to blame tonight not park imo. Overrun in midfield not expected by MH picking attacking formation expecting WHU to play deep & counter attacking but actually in the end leaving Granero/Faurlin under pressure coping with 3 central mids which we couldn't cope with in the end. Good work by fat sam actually targeting hill also. He meant to put hill under a barrage with Vaz te as alot of breaks came down the right and it worked all night! 0-2 down was always gonna be curtains and it could've been more. We all know we have problems at both fullback spots and very light up top at the moment and in time these will be rectified so we have quality to replace injuries. Right now we have gotta get on with it best we can that's all we can do with all the important injured players in defence at the moment which is awful bad luck for QPR because the prem isn't for mugs & weaknesses will always be tested as we are now, which is why tonight fat sam got his rewards for doin his homework.

Tried to play through Faurlin and Granero tonight they got out muscled until Diakite came on and helped , they were caught on the ball a lot also gave it away more than usual because they were being Harried, sorry to say Big Sam done a job on them and has now shown every other team what to do?

Problem is we can't carry on with Park, Faurlin and the Pirate. All too similar and IMHO Park brings the least. If he must play put him in the middle with the other two, put Adel and Junior out wide and play Cisse up top on his own. My choice however would be Diakite over Park in a three man centre mid. But hey I'm just a longstanding fan who gets mugged off season after season, so what do I know?22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I thought Cisse had a good game, excellent shot in the first half, lot more lively than Zamora in the second.
never really liked or respected your posts; saying cisse had a good game just reinforces my opinion.

He scored a great goal midweek and he is still fast on his feet....I am sure he will come good soon. That said we need another class striker to rotate with now that Andy Johnson is out for a long time (like he will ever be a top striker).

Cisse: Did he get good goal scoring opportunities? He only had three chances as I remember, the bicyle one with defenders around so he did not have enough time. The 2nd one he shoot the ball with two defenders blocking. The thrid in the 2nd half from the left which the angle was a bit difficult and the keeper saved it. Cisse is a natural goal scorer but give him the ball at the right time and position and he will score.
Park: Has been playing well in tackling till yesterday's game. Agree he is not a captain, but he is still useful. I think he could be a good right winger with Hoilett on the left.
SWP: Enough is enough. He has had all his chances and it is time to either loan him to a Championship side or try to sell him. I have no clue what Mark Hughes sees in him. He is afraid of taking on defenders/dribbling and always wants to get rid of every ball asap by making useless crosses.
Zamora: Not the best strikers but what else we have? at least he is our top scored and good in finishing from deflections / rebounds.
Hoilett & Taarabt: I can't understand why those two talents are wasted on the bench.
Granero: I feel Mark Hughes is putting too much pressure on him. Coming from Real Madrid, we expect too much from him. He is young and should not play the whole 90 mins. I would start Taarabt and then perhaps introduce him in the 2nd half.
Diakite: As someone said, yesreday proved he really needs mental or discipline treatment. The guy is hyper and got energy, but he needs to use it properly.
Mbia: Started horribly, but with time I could see him as a good defender.
Onuoha: Clueless.Last edited by Yousef; 02-10-2012, 06:42 AM.QPR fan since1987

My biggest concern at the moment is not individual players, it's the fact that we had the whole summer to build a squad and this what we have come up with. Admittedly we have been unlucky with injuries early on in key areas but the fact is over the course of the season there will be injuries and to be honest, we should be able to cope with the 4 or 5 players that we have out at the moment. Unfortunately 4 injuries at the back and 1 up top has uncovered are squad for what it is..........fragile!
I think we need to admit that Park isn't captain material, I also think we need to give Harriman a run out. From what I've seen he cannot be any worse than Nedum Onuha at full back, his distribution is woeful. I also think Hughes needs to work out what his best formation is and who his preferred choice is in midfield. All this said, I'm confident things will get better, we are just struggling with injuries and new players are taking time to gel.
