Cant blame Hughes for picking a player with Onuohas history and ability over an untried kid. Remember Harriman is only as much a part of the squad as any of the other youth players. This is not like fitting lego pieces together as in he is a right back so should slot right in.

Strangely at CB a very different story and a lot better, mainly due to his strength, pace and athletic attributes.

to be honest, I have not been impressed with Ned at all since he came. However, it appears he is more of a center back (not that he looks great there either). Its hard to judge players when they are in the wrong positions. Cisse looks awful alone up front, but can be deadly when paired with someone else, Park is dreadful on the left wing, but decent on the right, Hill looks awful at left back - but does a job at center back. Im not saying Nedum is any good, as I dont rate him at all, but unless they are in their preferred positions, it doesnt help. If Ronaldo played at center back, he would look crap as well

Nedum is a poor full back and an average centre back and if we have serious aspirations to progress as a club, then he is not good enough.
Full backs are very important in modern day football, they have to comfortable on the ball wth a decent touch. He is uncomfortable and doesn't want the ball.
In fairness to MH, he didn't know Fabio, Boswinga, Traore, Ferdinand and Dyer were all going to be out at the same time.
Seems like a nice bloke though!
