West Ham (Home)..Hard game to predict, could go either way
    WBA (Away)..lose
    Everton (Home)..at best a draw
    Arsenal (Away)..lose

Not looking good at the moment.

Now that has cheered you up...TTFN.

I wouldn't even bother predicting results in the PL I expect something out of every match we play

On the outside it looks like our team has really strengthened, but other teams have stepped up too. The Swansea and Norwich games are the most disapointing for me so far - couple of wins there and the other decent performances and we would all be pretty happy now.

We need to get points against the chumps.

As opposed to being optimistic about predicting a defeat each weak, great!

if you add the first 3 games in November, Reading, Stoke and Southampton, in addition to the 5 games already played that will be a total of 12 games (inc Oct), of which 4 would have been against 4 of the top sides. It's fair, in my opinion, to make more of a judgement, than after 5 games, when 3 of them have been against top sides.
Over the season, we play 36 games and 10 of them are against the top sides, so 4 out of the first 12 is a reasonable barometer to judge.
That said, 14 or 15 points would be my prediction from the first 12 games. God forbid, it's under 10, then we have a problem

I would have thought people by now would have started realising when supporting this club at the highest level the quality of the opposition bares no reflection on the end result. Whether we are playing Manchester city or Wigan the problem is this, we have an inability to kill games off or to hold onto a lead and despite all the positive signs unless this can be rectified this season is looking doomed.

Here's a few facts. Last season we conceded 66 goals, Fulham 51, WBA 52, Swansea 51, Stoke 53 and Sunderland 46.
We all scored similar amounts of goals.
All the talk is pointless until we learn to DEFEND BETTER AND GET SOME BETTER QUALITY AT THE BACK
