Robert Green has been told he can leave Queens Park Rangers for NOTHING – just three months after signing for the club.
Former England *goalkeeper Green joined QPR from the club’s *opponents tomorrow night, West Ham, after he rejected a new contract at Upton Park.
But his decision swiftly backfired as Rangers signed *Brazil international Julio Cesar – and Green was immediately dropped to the bench.
Now, Green has been told by manager Mark Hughes that he is already surplus to *requirements and he will be allowed to leave the Hoops on a free transfer, if he can find a new club.
The shot-stopper is *currently being paid around £50,000 a week by QPR, making him one of the highest-paid reserve *goalkeepers in the Premier League.
