He doesn't get everything right and our start is poor.

He also didn't keep us up, Stoke did, as he failed in his personal objective on the last day.

But there is no one else we can hand it over to now is there? He has been backed and that means we have to give him time.

He isn't doing great at the mo though and I don't agree with some of his selections, but I am not a football manager.
    Good post agree 100%

given no improvement the board may just be approaching their first real test.
Their first real test?!?! I think they've had plenty of 'real' tests in the first 14 months to be fair mate. This isn't even a test, it's just things getting blown out of all proportions. If Everton fans reacted like we do after 5 games of the season, Moyes would have gone a long time ago.

Also, when did it become our god given right to win home and away in the Prem? Last time I checked we were a relatively small club in our 2nd season back up, having stayed up by the skin of our teeth in our first, and are now looking to consolidate our place in the league. Which from the football I have watched us play this season, will happen comfortably.

Of course you are entitled to an opinion and I respect that and I appreciate other opinions are not always in line with mine.
However, it's coming across that some fans don't like him and regardless of anything he does, they don't want him. If we finish 9th or 10th, would you like him anymore?
We 've got a lot of new players, who are going to take some time to gel but we have seen already some promise in the last 3 league games. We also have to accept that a new group are gong to have games when they don't play well.
One so called fan was shouting to get rid of Cesar the other night. How ludicrous is that?
For the record, I don't hero worship MH but I like the players he's bought recently and have confidence this group will comfortably survive and in my opnion lay a foundation to build further and take us to the next level.

As a paying football fan, I am entitled to have an opinion on MH, not based on how this season has started, but on everything he has done before. I am sorry if unlike you I do not hero-worship him, I thought our fans would respect the views of other fans instead of accusing them of being shallow... I thought our fans were better than that.

by the way, f we're struggling at Christmas, I'll want him out as much as anyone else. I have no allegiance to MH, just want him given a fair chance in a new season with a new group

hah, seriously?? Could you really imagine the Warnock team outplaying Chelsea and Spurs like we did? We were miles better in those matches than we ever were last season, with the possible exception of the last few home games. Don't forget that even in the famous Chelsea 1-0, we were still outplayed for 45 mins by 9 men

i watched the leeds game in the week, warnock is a legend. I prefer him to Hughes. OK Hughes might be more 'scientific' in his approach but hes boring as hell
