Without meaning to state the obvious but failure to win that game could mean the beginning of the end of Mark Hughes, and playing well and losing wont save him.I'm a fan of his and really hope he comes good but if I were a betting man I would put a few quid on Arry being here by November.Watch this space

We really don't want to continue that musical chairs scenario. He is our manager, we have to stick with him for the season at least. Yes it's painful at the moment but he has put together a good squad of players not to mention his own personal entourage of backroom staff. To uproot him means tearing the heart out if the coaching structure which is in place at the moment. A new manager while probably getting the benefit of the new man bounce would really be going back to square one again. It's not sensible to do that, we have to stick with Hughes for now, he will come good for us.

Football is a business that gages it's success through results on the pitch.
Whether we like it or not, if results don't start showing a marked improvement very soon, then MH's job could well be on the line.
We've had two shocking results at Loftus Rd already this season, last night's, and that Swansea debacle on the opening day.
For the life of me, I cannot see the board, having invested so heavily to avoid this very scenario this season, just standing idly by, if things continue as they are.

While it's too early to realistically question Hughes' job. A loss on Monday night will have the papers talking about possible replacements I'd imagine, and they will likely run with how many managers we've had in the last 10 years.
I hope to avoid that embarrassment. I think we need to accept a draw against West Ham might be a good result right now.

I think Hughes can get away with a defeat to West Ham. But if we then lost to West Brom, then Everton will have to be a game where we must get at least one point. If we lose to Everton too, then I think he would have to go, as I don't think we'll get anything at Emirates, and 2 points from 9 games is simply not acceptable.

I really hope MH gets results soon as playing well but still losing wont cut any ice with our owners, they AND Hughes have said another relagation battle won't be accepted this season,so results will need to improve. For the record I dont want Hughes sacked(not at this moment in time),but if results don't improve soon wouldn't blame owners, who have invested big money in the team,if they did.
